Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner has flaunted nine tattoos on her body in the past. Although her tattoos are usually tiny, they have a deeper meaning and hold great significance. So, let’s have a close look and learn what they mean.

Recently, the beauty mogul revealed the reason behind the matching tattoo she got with her one of her ex-boyfriends, Travis Scott. She uploaded a video on her official channel and said, “When Travis and I first got together, we got matching little butterfly tattoos. So a butterfly is just a symbol of our relationship and Stormi.” So, let’s see what other tattoos she got inked over the years.

This is the first tattoo Kylie got in August 2015, a little heart-shaped ink was seen on her arm. The exact reason for this cute tattoo is not clear. Still, it could symbolize her love for then-boyfriend Tyga, or it could be a matching tattoo she got with friends Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou, Justine Skye, and ex-BFF Jordyn Woods.

Kylie posted this picture back in December 2015 on her Instagram, showcasing her new tattoo. This one was done by the famous tattoo artist Bang Bang (via Pop Buzz). From a distance, it is just a few letters in a nice font titled “‘ sa-na-tē” (sanity). However, this red-colored mark on the 23-year-old reality TV star’s right hip acts as a reminder of sanity; mostly because she’s usually in the public eye. While explaining the idea behind his tattoo, Kylie said, “I’ve lost friends along the way, and I’ve lost myself too sometimes. My first tattoo was ‘sanity’ to remind myself every day to keep it.“

Many Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans can spot a tattoo on Kylie’s right butt. It’s pretty artistic, and it amplifies the meaning of the previous tattoo. In July 2016, the mommy-of-one got the word “before” added in front of her “‘ sa-na-tē” tattoo. Celebrity tattoo artist Rafael Valdez did this one.

This tattoo is a tribute to her grandma, Mary Jo Shannon. In February 2016, the E! star got it inked on her left arm. It reads “Mary Jo” in a handwritten font. Well, it turns out that isn’t actually a font, but her late grandfather’s handwriting. How thoughtful!
