A recent thread highlights the former friendship that existed between Scott’s ex, Sofia Richie, and his current 19-year-old girlfriend.

After months of keeping their romance seemingly under wraps, Scott and Amelia confirmed their courtship during Valentine’s Day. A bleach blonde Scott posted a romantic dinner date pic that showed him and Amelia smiling together. The couple first teased their romance when they attended Kendall Jenner’s birthday party last October. In the weeks that followed, they teased dinner and beach dates before touring estates together and traveling to Mexico over the New Year’s Eve weekend. When they first started fueling dating rumors, Amelia’s parents, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin, said their teenage daughter was “just in a phase” with Scott. However, it looks like things between the two are more than temporary.

Last August, Scott ended his three-year relationship with Sofia Richie. Since their split, the 22-year-old has been seen on a number of dinner and beach dates herself. However, she’s enjoying the single life while Scott appears to have settled down with another young woman that he possibly met through his ex. After posting Amelia on his Instagram over the weekend, it didn’t take too long for fans to jump on Reddit with a year-old throwback photo of Sofia and Amelia hanging out together. “Sofia & Amelia at Sofia’s launch party for her collab with Rolla’s jeans (Feb 2020) Scott was also in attendance” the thread read. “Less than 1 year ago. The photo showed Sofia and Amelia posing alongside each other at the event. While fans couldn’t get over the irony, they also couldn’t get over how young they both are. “When you see the two of them together it hits home how creepy it actually is,” one Redditor said. “Their Kylie age and younger which is so creepy and weird of Scott.” One fan called out how “disgusted” they were with Scott. “They’re so young. It doesn’t matter if they’re legally adults, the power dynamics in those relationships are unbalanced.” the fan added. There was another fan who pieced together how Scott tends to jump from relationship to relationship after being introduced to a friend of his girlfriend at the time.
