Those who have been Keeping Up With The Kardashians are fully aware of the issues that Kourtney Kardashian is facing right now. After two full seasons of rising tensions between Kourt and her younger siblings (particularly with Kim Kardashian), the drama finally reached the point of no return and Kourtney has decided, for at least the time being, to leave the show. As to why things have built up for so long, Kendall Jenner believes her sister has been bottling up her emotions – and she has a theory as to why.

What will undoubtably go down as Keeping Up with the Kardashians‘ most dramatic moment was the actual physical fight between Kim and Kourtney. The drama was the culmination of multiple season’s worth of drama and butting heads between the two. This resulted in production being closed down for a week and Kourtney reevaluating the show and her involvement. There’s no word yet on whether she’ll return or not.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In a clip posted to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians YouTube page, we see a conversation between Khloé Kardashian, Scott Disick, and Kendall where they discuss the potentially worrying mindset of their oldest sister. Khloé read out “the nicest” text she sent Kourt, essentially saying the two need to sit down and have a conversation to air out their grievances. Khloé read the text, “We can’t let this continue and sweep it under the rug like we typically do.” She concluded it, “You’re someone I love and respect and always want you to feel good when you’re around me.” While the text was lengthy and heartfelt, it initially received no response from Kourtney. While that frustrated Khloe, matters were made worse when Kourtney finally responded – 9 hours later. It wasn’t exactly the response Khloe was looking for either, but rather just a video of the private jet Kourtney was taking. Check out the clip below:

Kendall responded, “I don’t think she’s extremely self-aware.” She further explained that Kourtney is almost completely incapable of admitting when she’s wrong. That’s when she delved into her big theory about Kourtney – she never got over her breakup with her baby daddy, Scott. At least, that’s where it started, according to Kendall. Upon hearing that, Scott was initially skeptical. The whole situation may have mentally scarred Kourtney and she never really addressed the feelings that come after something like that. With their lives heavily publicized and almost daily televised, Kourtney probably could catch her breath. So, that leaves her where she is now, wanting to leave the show due to her own mental exhaustion.

Scott, however, feels that Kourtney is “misunderstood.” Where many people believe she’s being rude, Scott knows she means well. Admitting that it’s “kinda hard sometimes,” he believes in giving her the benefit of the doubt. Scott and Kourtney were married from 2006 to 2015 and have 3 kids together. Despite their divorce, the two remained on Keeping Up with the Kardashians together and became wonderful co-parents. However, it’s been a difficult transition since 36-year-old Scott began dating 21-year-old Sophia Richie.
