The hit and run incident left the stylist in a reflective state. The 28-year-old is five months pregnant and urged her followers to appreciate life.

The Danish-born stylist released the news about her gig, on social media years after she actually started. Since then, Carter has shared more with her 186,000 followers, including news about her pregnancy and a hit and run incident.

Carter left a lengthy message in block text on her social media story. Her followers were shocked to learn about the incident. Carter wrote “LIFE IS EXTREMELY FRAGILE I AM 5 MONTHS PREGANT AND WAS INVOLVED IN A HIT AND RUN YESTERDAY EVENING.” A Reddit user titles a thread “Kim stylist nearly died.” Users share their fears, “This is one of the main reasons why I’m too scared of get my driver’s license. I’m really happy she’s doing fine. So many people die from these types of things.” One user expressed relief: “Holy f**k. Glad she and the baby are ok. Hit and runs are so disgusting. Accidents happen, I’ve nearly hit someone myself and have nearly been hit but to run and leave a pregnant victim? Scum.” 

Carter shows her arm wrapped in a hospital band. The band reads “Cedars – Sinai Main Hospital.” She continues her lengthy text, “THE MOST SCARIEST THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I CANNOT EXPRESS TO YOU HOW GRATEFUL I AM TO BE ALIVE.” Near death experiences often result in a renewed appreciation of life. The low key stylist publicly shares, “PLEASE APPRECIATE WHAT YOU HAVE AND THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE EACH AND EVERYDAY. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.” The incident did not cause any harm to Carter or her baby. Carter ends with, “BABY AND MYSELF ARE OK I LOVE YOU!”
