KUWTK: Sophia Hutchins Reveals Where Her Relationship Is With Caitlyn

Sophia Hutchins can’t seem to shake the romance rumors that continue to plague her friendship with former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Caitlyn Jenner. The young entrepreneur is speaking out against speculation over her relationship status with the reality TV alum. Her comments come as Caitlyn continues promoting her run for governor of California.

Back in 2019, Caitlyn and Sophia sent the rumor mill spinning after they began appearing on red carpets together and posting pics on social media. The two were introduced through a mutual friend when Sophia was a 19-year-old college student. She soon took on the role of Caitlyn’s manager and began living with the reality star. Despite all the press surrounding them, Sophia remained adamant that they were nothing more than friends. Now, with Caitlyn throwing her hat into the political arena, Sophia found it necessary to set the record straight on their relationship status.

The Lumasol founder took to her Instagram Story over the week and shared a tweet claiming she and Caitlyn have been dating each other for four years. “Fake news! Not a lesbian! F–k off,” Sophia captioned the post, as noted by E! News. This is the first time Sophia has been so direct with her response to the speculation. In May 2020 she admitted her relationship with Caitlyn has always been platonic and business-oriented. “It was never romantic. It was never sexual,” Sophia said on Juicy Scoop With Heather McDonald. “It was very much friends.”

Sophia credited Caitlyn for being more like a parent figure in her life. “It’s very parental, very protective,” she said. “But, at the same time, it’s also businessy. Like, what I say is it’s like we’re family.” Her recent reiteration on the topic could be inspired by Caitlyn’s current political run. It’s been one month since she announced her campaign. Since launching her campaign, she has appeared on Fox News with Sean Hannity and spoke out against cancel culture. She’s also ruffled the feathers of her family members and members of the LGBTQ community due to her conservative views.

Caitlyn’s comments against prison reform offended her daughter, Kim Kardashian. The fierce criminal justice reform advocate said she was disturbed by Caitlyn’s views on the issue she fights so hard for. Meanwhile, the I Am Cait star confused many after she spoke out against transgender women competing in female sports. Many have accused her of being hypocritical to the community she’s also a part of. Her elitist views were blasted after she spoke out against homelessness that she says pushed her rich friends out of the city. But at least she has Sophia on her side to help address the dating rumors head-on.
