Caitlyn Jenner’s strongly conservative views could be doing more harm than good when it comes to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians family as a whole. After recently announcing her run for Governor of California, Caitlyn has been calling out all the issues that she appears to have plans to address, including police reform. When looking at Caitlyn’s political views, it was only a matter of time before she crossed paths with Kim Kardashian.

While the SKIMS founder has been hard at work studying for the bar exam, her former in-law was preparing to make a campaign announcement. Less than a year after Kanye West made a run for President, Caitlyn has announced that she wants to become the next Governor of California. The I Am Cait star hasn’t been shy about her Republican stance over the years. It has even negatively impacted her when it comes to garnering support within the LGBTQ+ community. However, despite all the odds stacked against her, Caitlyn has been active on social media after announcing her campaign run last week.

Over the weekend, The Masked Singer celebrity Caitlyn Jenner took to social media to call out California’s current Governor for his action on police reform, an issue near-and-dear to Kim’s heart. As seen below, Caitlyn tweeted out: “Gavin’s District Attorneys across California are releasing dangerous criminals back on to our streets. Enough is enough.” Caitlyn then goes on to call for the removal of Gavin Newsom as Governor of California. Her choice words were in response to a news story about an infant that was murdered by a man who had been released from jail twice this year. While the news story had nothing to do with Gov. Newsome, Caitlyn used it to highlight her more conservative views on prison reform. Kim has worked closely with the previous president in getting convicted felons released from lengthy prison sentences.

Now that Caitlyn Jenner is taking a direct aim at the issue Kim Kardashian has spent the last few years advocating for, sources say the KKW Beauty founder is disturbed by Caitlyn’s comments. The mother of four is not in support of Caitlyn’s “tough on crime” mindset, which she says costs taxpayers more money in the end. Additionally, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe have already expressed their lack of support for Caitlyn’s campaign due to her conservative views and divorce from Kris Jenner. Caitlyn’s views have done more damage than good. In the past, she offered to be Ted Cruz’s “transgender ambassador” during his presidential campaign despite the Senator’s controversial comments about transgender people using public bathrooms.

While she’s credited Barack Obama for being the first president to use the word “transgender,” she been’s a fierce critic of his administration. During the 2016 election, she expressed support for Donald Trump by taking up his offer to use the women’s restroom at the Trump Tower. Despite all the controversy surrounding her viewpoints, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Caitlyn Jenner is still moving forward with her political aims.
