The new champion skins for this year’s League of Legends Harrowing event may have been revealed earlier as expected in a recent leak. The Harrowing is the game’s annual Halloween event and previous iterations of the event have seen new content added to the game during its duration including new champion skins, game modes, map variants, features, items, and more.

The Harrowing is only one of the game’s several seasonal or limited time events, with one other being the recent short-lived return of the Nexus Blitz game mode. These events are just one of the ways League of Legends introduces new skins for the humongous roster of champions. They’ve also previously released skins alongside the release of a new character. Most recently, Riot Games announced a collaboration with streetwear label  AAPE which included a new skin for one of the game’s champions.

The splash art for the supposed new skins were leaked by YouTube channel ka2ka2 and later shared on their Twitter account showing that at least Amumu and Elise will be receiving new skins during the game’s Halloween event. Ka2ka2 explained in the corresponding Twitter thread that the splash art for the upcoming skins were shown in a recent email survey from Riot Games Korea sent to League of Legends players in the country. The email survey asked players to evaluate the splash art of upcoming content for the game, which could be easily assumed to be the Harrowing event based on the content of the splash art.

The splash art for Amumu’s skin shows the sad mummy’s head turned into a pumpkin or jack-o’-lantern with purple leaves and green fire while he wears what looks like a high-collared purple coat and suit. The splash art shows him sitting on a seesaw alone with a carved pumpkin on the other end. Elise’s splash art shows her with white hair in a purple and black witch-themed costume. Her art also shows a flying jack o’lantern with spider legs, implying that even her spiders will be part of her new skin.

Given that the skins have yet to be officially announced, there’s still a chance that there’ll be changes to the look and even lineup of skins that Riot Games ends up releasing for this year’s Harrowing event. And given that the past few years have been more than two Harrowing skins released, there still might be at least one more skin that’s yet to be leaked. At the same time, League of Legends fans can also look forward to the release of the game’s latest champion, Samira, who will also probably receive her own skins after her release.
