There’s no show quite like Fox’s LEGO Masters on television at the moment. With some of the top LEGO enthusiasts in the country competing for the title of LEGO Master, the stakes are high and the LEGO builds even higher in this reality competition show.

While every team that has competed on LEGO Masters deserves credit for their talent and skill, there were quite a few teams from Season 1 and Season 2 who stood out from the rest thanks to their imagination and technical abilities.

10 Sam & Jessica (Season 1)

Sam and Jessica did not get off to a great start in Season 1. They weren’t on the same page as a team, and the result was a lot of drama, bickering, and barely squeaking by. At first, viewers weren’t sure if their builds were even worthy of the show.

Once Sam and Jessica figured out how to work as a team, their builds vastly improved. In fact, in the later episodes, their creativity and artful building really shine. The peacock they put together in the finale was exquisite and continues to go down in LEGO Masters history.

9 Dave & Richard (Season 2)

It was a shock when Dave and Richard were eliminated in the ninth episode of Season 2. Not only did they have the most challenge wins at that point in the competition, but also their builds were truly innovative.

Right out of the gate, the float Dave and Richard put together in the first episode was a stand-out. And the two only continued to prove their chops as LEGO masters as the season continued.

8 Mel & Jermaine (Season 1)

Mel and Jermaine were one of a few teams constantly pushing the envelope in Season 1. They continuously challenged themselves by sculpting bigger and better builds. This left a lasting impression on viewers for daring to go big or go home.

While Mel and Jermaine might have started out as the Season 1 underdogs, they didn’t stay that way for long. Their theme park, space smash, and city block builds were impressive feats still cool to look at to this day.

7 Caleb & Jacob (Season 2)

Many fans believe Caleb and Jacob set the bar for aesthetics by creating sets that had never been done before. While some of their biggest competition in Season 2 went for large or technically advanced builds, Caleb and Jacob were more clever and playful when sculpting.

Though they didn’t make it into the top two, viewers believe Caleb and Jacob should be proud of their builds, especially the two that earned them wins in the Land & Sea and Cliffhanger episodes.

6 Aaron & Christian (Season 1)

Aaron and Christian had an eye for detail that was unrivaled in Season 1. In fact, many viewers thought their design and detail precision would take them all the way in the competition. While that was not the case, Aaron and Christian still left a lasting mark.

Fans were especially impressed by Aaron and Christian’s technical abilities, which helped them present really polished builds to the judges week after week.

5 Natalie & Michelle (Season 2)

Natalie and Michelle were fierce competitors in Season 2. While they spent a lot of the competition at risk of being eliminated, this team proved time and time again that they weren’t going down without a fight, with their weapon of choice being their mastery of LEGO.

Natalie and Michelle were a talented team that went far thanks to their creative sculpting and imaginative designs. Viewers were especially impressed by their “Hats Incredible!” win — because that build was one for the books.

4 Boone & Mark (Season 1)

Boone and Mark were fun to watch in Season 1. When they (well, Boone) weren’t breaking out into song, they were bringing some of the most creative and one-of-a-kind builds to the competition.

Mark and Boone entered the competition with ambition, taking their builds to new heights and thinking up ways of telling a story that made them a team to watch and beat in Season 1.

3 Mark & Steven (Season 2)

Mark and Steven were neck-in-neck with Zack and Wayne in terms of raw talent throughout Season 2. However, when Mark and Steven unveiled their finale build, “The Warden in the Woods,” it was obvious they were pulling out all the stops to nab that title.

The two had an impressive showing on Season 2 to say the least. Each of their creations highlighted their unique skills and inspired viewers to try their own hand at thinking outside of the box with LEGO.

2 Tyler & Amy (Season 1)

Tyler and Amy unlocked too many cool characters to count during Season 1. Each character was sculpted in really fun ways, making every single character a hit with the judges and viewers — and rightly so.

One of the reasons why Tyler and Amy’s characters were so successful is because the two had a knack for storytelling unparalleled on their season. Basically, no viewer was surprised when the newlyweds were crowned the winners of Season 1.

1 Zack & Wayne (Season 2)

Zack and Wayne impressed from the get-go on Season 2. Their episode 1 win was a no-brainer for both judges and viewers alike. And they kept up this energy as they continued to sculpt incredible creations.

While they made the faux pas of building dragons one too many times, the runners-up of Season 2 displayed serious skill regardless by creating some of the most memorable builds of the show’s two seasons.
