A leak has seemingly revealed a new LEGO set based on Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order may be released this year. This would continue LEGO’s recent venture into sets based on video games such as Super MarioSonic the Hedgehog, and Horizon Forbidden West, whilst also further expanding its long-running LEGO Star Wars line.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released in 2019 to much critical and fan acclaim. The story follows Cal Kestis, one of the surviving Jedi Padawans in an original story set a few years after the events of the movie Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The game offers players the chance to upgrade Cal’s different force abilities and lightsaber as he develops as a Jedi throughout the story, and features appearances from other popular characters within the Star Wars universe. In January 2022, a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was announced by EA alongside two new projects at Respawn.

German LEGO website Promo Bricks has reportedly revealed that a set based on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is due to release in August 2022, and will consist of 1062 parts and one minifigure (via VGC). The set itself is thought to include the droid companion of Cal Kestis, BD-1, in a similar style to LEGO’s The Child/Grogu set from The Mandalorian. The choice of minifigure may come as a surprise to many fans who would expect the protagonist of the game to come as a part of the set, as it appears the minifigure version of BD-1 will be the sole figure included. The set will allegedly retail for $99.99 at launch.

No other Jedi: Fallen Order LEGO sets have been revealed in the leak, but the timing is perhaps interesting. Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is rumored to launch in either 2022 or 2023 – a claim that’s perhaps bolstered by the LEGO leak. It seems unlikely that LEGO would want to launch a set related to the first game with its sequel already announced, and it’s possible that the upcoming set could be released around the same time as the highly-anticipated title.

Needless to say, LEGO’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order fans are certainly in for a treat come August if the rumor comes to fruition, and if not, there’s still the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to get excited for. The game, set to launch in April, will explore all nine main Star Wars movies with signature LEGO style and humor, offerings lots for fans to explore as they wait for more news on a potential Jedi: Fallen Order LEGO set.
