Love After Lockup: Rachel Reveals Doug Cheated During Entire Relationship

Rachel is opening up about her messy breakup on Love After Lockup and revealing how she knew Doug was cheating during their entire relationship. Season 4 ended with Rachel upset and outraged when she learned that Doug was seeing another woman. Cameras captured the aftermath of Doug moving out and taking his son Dougie with him. But since filming wrapped, Doug has returned to prison, and Rachel is free to clear up any misconceptions regarding their short-lived marriage.

Many weren’t surprised by Rachel and Doug’s split in the season finale. Doug’s commanding demeanor was evident even from their phone conversations prior to his prison release. Rachel welcomed Doug into the home she had been living in with his 12-year-old son Dougie. Rachel took in Dougie as her own after marrying Doug 8 months before his prison release. But from the beginning, there were signs of trouble when it came to Doug’s treatment of Rachel. Viewers saw the bond that Rachel developed with Dougie, but they were worried about whether she and Doug would make it. By season’s end, Rachel was left heartbroken after learning Doug moved on with another woman despite all that she attempted to build with him. Since their breakup, Rachel has regained custody of Dougie, and Doug was sent back to prison on new drugs and weapons charges.

Rachel recently appeared on the Domenick Nati Show and opened up about her life post-Doug. She shared how she knew the marriage was over when finding out how long Doug had been unfaithful to her. “That was the funny thing,” Rachel said when sharing her surprise with Doug’s cheating. She admitted that they were intimate quite often, so she was confused about “where did he have time to cheat.”

After being asked if Doug cheated throughout their entire relationship, Rachel admitted, “Yeah, absolutely. 110%.” She also said that she never stepped out on her husband and was faithful to Doug the entire time they were together. But despite her efforts, things ended horribly for the couple. Doug moved on with an ex who revealed their romance on Instagram while the season was still airing. Doug’s recent arrest revealed the life of crime he was still engaged in after his initial release. It was his first time in a long time that he was living life as a free adult man. The longest he had ever spent out of jail as an adult was 40 days.

But with Doug going back to prison and looking at serious jail time, it’s clear that Doug wasn’t ready to leave his past behind. Fortunately for Rachel, Dougie chose to live with her, and she is focused on being a mother to him. Doug has to deal with the reality of his poor decisions. He had a wife and a chance to raise his son for the first time, and he managed to give it all up for a return to prison. Rachel and Doug have become a Love After Lockup couple that didn’t make it.
