On the follow-up special Love Is Blind: After the Altar, both Damian and Giannina revealed they were still working through some issues. It had been two years since the wedding, and they were still having small but frequent fights. Things got extra tense when Too Hot To Handle‘s Francesca Farago arrived at the anniversary party, after being invited by Damian. Rumors spread that Damian was dating Francesca when paparazzi photos of the two out together surfaced earlier in the year, though Damian asserted the two were just friends. Giannina was furious that Damian invited Francesca to the party, and the two had a big blow up during the festivities.

Giannina Opened Up About Their Split

Soon after the premiere of Love Is Blind: After the Altar Giannina revealed that the two had broken up. “I am officially single. Me and Damian haven’t been dating for a couple of months now,” she said to Entertainment Weekly. The altercation with Francesca seemed to be the last straw. Giannina talked about being caught very off guard by Francesca’s arrival, and it pushed her over the edge with Damian. While the two may be able to reconcile again, they are both in a happier place apart for the time being.
