Love Is Blind: Natalie Claps Back At Shayne’s Claims On Viall Files

Love Is Blind season 2 star Natalie Lee is clapping back at the accusations that Shayne Jansen made about their relationship during his recent interview on The Viall Files podcast hosted by former The Bachelor lead Nick Viall. Up until the very end of the season, Shayne and Natalie’s steady Love Is Blind journey suggested that they’d be getting married at the grand finale. Unfortunately, the couple had a huge fight the night before their wedding that changed everything for them.

At the reunion special, it became clear that Shayne and Natalie were not together anymore but still had unresolved issues between them. Alas, it also seemed pretty clear that they both wanted to move on from this particular relationship. This week, though, Shayne went on The Viall Files podcast and made a series of accusations about Natalie. Among other things, Shayne said that Natalie tried to rehearse with him what to say in front of the cameras, ran away from confronting Shaina Hurley in one of the episodes, and even called him “disgusting” recently.

Natalie Lee has now taken to Instagram to clap back at the accusations Shayne Jansen made on The Viall Files. In a lengthy Instagram Story post, Natalie flat-out denied “scripting” her interactions with Shayne on the show. She explained, “I did, however, set boundaries with filming – specifically I asked him to not drink alcohol before ‘serious’ scenes and to not share in-depth details of our intimacy.” She noted that Shayne found those boundaries to be frustrating. Natalie then addressed the accusation that she ran from Shaina during the season’s beach party: “I had [a] conversation with her, but it did not air. All the cast members were present for this scene, including Shayne.”

Another standout moment from Shayne’s interview with The Viall Files was when he claimed that Natalie had recently called him “disgusting.” Natalie explained that she only said that to Shayne after he told her he was doing the podcast and threatened to “bury [her]” and “drag [her] down with [him]” in the interview. Natalie further clarified that they tried dating twice – not four times – after filming Love Is Blind. The main reason why they can’t get back together is that Natalie has seemingly found flirtatious messages between Shayne and other women several times. In conclusion, she talked about being “saddened and confused by his dishonesty on the podcast.”

While the chances of Natalie and Shayne getting back together were already pretty slim, it seems like his latest podcast stint has made things even worse. This has officially become a “he said, she said” situation that fans are struggling to understand or keep up with. Alas, viewers hope that these two Love Is Blind stars can find happiness, even if that’s apart from each other.
