British dating reality series Love Island has had plenty of exciting couples but none have caused quite a stir like Montana Brown and Alex Beattie. Back in 2017, Alex showed up as a late contestant at the mansion and threatened to steal everybody’s love interest, thanks to his good looks. But it was Montana he eventually hooked up with.

The two were all each other and the producers made sure to grant them plenty of screen time. Despite being the stars, the two were eliminated shortly before the finale. And while their intimate moments are well known to viewers, there are plenty of things fans don’t know about the two lovebirds.

10 Montana Has Dated A Number Of Famous Sports Stars

Montana seems to be attracted to guys who are into extreme physical activities. Viewers are already aware of how much Alex likes working out. Perhaps that’s what attracted Montana to him the most. But viewers might not be aware that she has dated three sports stars.

Montana has dated goalkeeper Kieran O’Hara who plays for the popular English soccer club Manchester United. He also plays for his country, the Republic Of Ireland. The two broke up because they lived too far apart from each other.  She has also dated Irish rugby star Conor Murray and England rugby star Maro Itoje.

9 Alex Totally Loves And Trusts His Siblings

Alex has two siblings, a sister and brother, who he cares deeply about. The two seem to the only people he posts on the regular when he is not posting his workout pics. Hopefully, they approved of his relationship with Montana.

Alex actually trusts his younger brother so much that he left him in  charge of all his social media accounts when he went to the Love Island villa. Little bro must have been awed by the number of DMs his older brother gets.

8 Montana Runs A Blog Too

When she’s not putting in work on her Instagram. Montana updates her blog titled “Life Of Montana Rose Brown.” The blog has been running for a number of years now. In it, she updates fans about her life and her future plans.

She also posts about fitness and beauty on a regular. Montana has previously revealed that she believes in looking good and that anyone who doesn’t put any effort into looking good doesn’t appeal to that. That’s totally not a bad thing. Loving yourself is very important. It’s only by loving yourself that you can love others.

7 The Type Of Guys She Doesn’t Like…

While she likes muscular men, there’s also the type of guy Montana would never even consider dating. According to Heat World, her first turn-off is a man who is too obsessed with tattoos. Anyone covered in tattoos from neck to ankles pisses her off.

Montana also doesn’t like guys who smoke. She didn’t specify whether its cigarettes or marijuana but a good guess would be both. And in as much as she seems like the kind of girl to live life to the fullest, she hates guys who party too much.

6 Alex Did A Hair Transplant To Boost His Confidence

Given his well-toned physique, it was easy to conclude that Alex was a pretty confident guy. Apparently, that wasn’t the case. He still had insecurities that stemmed from his forehead. He revealed that he had been bullied as a kid for having a big forehead.

About his follicular unit extraction (FUE) transplant, Alex told The Sun that he’d never had any form of hair loss. It was just the forehead that was bothering him and apparently, it was genetic. All the men in his family had a higher hairline. He thus decided to take action and change what nature couldn’t.

5 The Two Broke Up Because Alex Allegedly Changed

Despite being great together on the show, the relationship didn’t last. In fact, it ended shortly after they came out of the villa. Were they just pretending for the cameras? According to Montana, she did her part. The breakup was all Alex’s fault.

Announcing the breakup, she tweeted: “Alex and I have decided to split. Making our relationship work on the outside has been totally difficult. He hasn’t been the same since he left the villa. Despite this, we are still close and I will always support him.”

4 Alex’s New Girlfriend Dated Another Love Island Star

After breaking up with Montana, Alex moved on to make-up artist and beauty blogger Amy Paphitis. Interestingly, Amy also dated another Love Island. It’s not clear exactly who exactly she was coupled up with but there are two suspects.

Shortly after the arrival of Jonny Mitchell and Chris Hughes at the mansion, Amy tweeted: “It’s all fun and games until the guy you are texting says he’s going on holiday then he ends up on Love Island.” Despite being pressed about it, she has never revealed who exactly it was between the two.

3 What’s Montana Up To Nowadays?

Ever since she left the mansion, Montana has had gigs as a fashion presenter for This Morning and as a fitness model for PrettyLittleThing. She is also hoping to immerse herself more in the entertainment industry.

Montana has also become quite a star on TikTok. She regularly records herself doing dance moves and hilarious voice-over videos. She has recently revealed a funny side of herself that was previously hidden to her fans. Perhaps she should try her hand in comedy.

2 Montana Would Love To Reconcile, But Alex… Not So Much

In an old video addressed to her fans, Montana stated that she would welcome the idea of getting back with Alex. She even claimed they spoke regularly, something Alex denied. According to him, he hadn’t spoken to her in a long time.

Alex was quite harsh while denying Montana’s statement. He said: “Montana said we talk regularly but we haven’t in a while. I don’t know where it came from. She said ‘never say never’ about us but that was news to me! She must be texting the wrong number! I would never get back with her. It’s over! If went back to the way it was, it wouldn’t be healthy anyway.” Wow!

1 The Couple Had Quite The Perfect Sex Life

It’s a shame that the two broke up because they actually had a perfect sex life. It was revealed that Montana and Alex got intimate more than other contestants on the show. Other contestants also revealed that their lovemaking was something to envy too.

After she was evicted alongside, Sam Gowland, Georgia Harrison told The Sun: “Alex and Montana have the noisiest sex.” With Sam adding: “Yeah, I’ll tell you what, I need some tips off Alex because he goes for an hour, I’ve never heard anyone go on for so long.”
