Love Island: Cash & Cinco Appear Together, Shut Down Breakup Rumors

Love Island USA stars Cashay Proudfoot and Cinco appeared together on social media and shut down all the breakup rumors that fans had been speculating on for a few days. Cinco and Cash met on day one of Love Island USA season 3. Cashay was brought into the villa first and coupled up with Christian Longnecker upon first impressions, but Cinco quickly walked into the villa and “stole” her during the following re-coupling session.

After experiencing a roller-coaster journey on Love Island USA, Cinco and Cash reconnected outside the villa and became an inseparable pairing. Alas, despite being one of the strongest couples to come out of season 3, there seemed to be some friction between them during the last few days. Specifically, the fans started to speculate that Cash and Cinco had broken up after a few open-ended comments from Aimee Flores made it seem like the couple was going through a rough patch.

Now, Cashay and Cinco have taken to social media to confirm that they are still together after Love Island USA. Cash started an Instagram Story (re-shared on Reddit, as seen below) lying down in bed with Cinco. “Hi everyone, we back! So, he did not sleep with Aimee’s friend,” Cash started, which made Cinco laugh. Cashay then reacted to Cinco’s laugh: “Everybody thinks you slept with Aimee’s friend. I just had to clear up the air. We got in a little petty fight and it dragged on all weekend. That’s the tea. And now we’re fine.” After laughing yet again, Cinco added: “[We are] just two strong-willed and opinioned people. But that’s what it is.” Cashay and Cinco proceeded to jokingly blame one another for this misunderstanding. “Mostly because of her,” Cinco teased. “Mostly because of him,” Cash rebutted.

It was made clear in the video that Cinco and Cashay are still in a relationship. Whatever misunderstanding with Aimee happened last weekend didn’t affect Cash and Cinco as a couple in any way. In fact, they’re already laughing about it together and teasing each other for it. They were also clearly lying in bed together and cuddling, so there’s really nothing here for fans to speculate about. It’s now been almost two months since they left the Love Island villa, but Cinco and Cash are still going strong and not losing their minds over the little things.

All couples – whether from a reality show or not – go through rough patches sometimes, so it’s not inconceivable for Cash and Cinco to have misunderstandings along the way. Thankfully, they seem willing and able to figure things out.
