He’s been having the time of his life at Casa Amor, but she’s not so sure about breaking things up with him anymore. This episode is probably also going to solidify whether Caleb Corprew and Calvin Cobb will make a move on someone new. Previously on Love Island USA, the show took some time to establish that Mackenzie is forging a new path forward with Jalen and leaving Connor in the past. Connor still doesn’t know that, however, and has been scared to do anything at Casa Amor that would upset Mackenzie. Johnny was shockingly getting very involved with Mercades while the fans watched Cely being nothing but confident in their relationship back in the main villa. It does seem that Mercades has now moved on to Carrington, but Johnny’s initial behavior could still hurt him in the long run. Episode 16 also made it a point to show that Kierstan is struggling to find a connection with any of the new boys. She seems to really miss Carrington, even if they had agreed to just be friends. Last but not least, Justine and Caleb have so far done nothing that would upset each other… and the fans are hoping that things can stay that way.
