Love On The Spectrum was such a huge success when it debuted on Netflix in 2020. Fans loved the heartwarming nature of the show that showed that those on the autism spectrum do often seek out partnership and want to find love, despite common misunderstanding.

Not everyone found love on the show, however, with some cast members even returning for the second season that premiered in May 2021 to continue their journeys. Looking back at the most notable people and couples from season 1 of Love On The Spectrum, however, fans are curious what they have been up to since.

Michael was one of the stand-out cast members who had some of the funniest and most adorable moments from Love On The Spectrum season 1. Fans were instantly rooting for him to find love, appreciating his clever sense of humor and quick wit. He went on a few dates and even returned for the second season, where he made it as far as introducing a girl to his family. But in the end, it didn’t work out.

Currently, Michael hosts his own podcast called Mr. A+ and works with an agent in booking acting projects. In his podcast, he calls love “the most wonderful thing” and is still on his journey to find “the one.”

Another cast member who returned for season 2, Chloe found that she had an interest in Mark after watching the first season and attempted to strike up a romance with him. They got along quite well and dated seriously for some time, even spending the holidays together with family. But they eventually parted ways.

Chloe promotes her own Cameo account and calls herself a “bad-ass pansexual icon” in her Instagram profile. It’s unclear what she has been up to, but based on her profile, she is still single but having the time of her life on adventures with her best friend.

Sharnae And Jimmy

Sharnae and Jimmy were a big part of the show’s second season, which followed the couple through planning their wedding and honeymoon. Their love for one another had not wavered since season 1, and the second season ended with a beautiful moment as they finally tied the knot.

According to NBN News on Twitter, Sharnae received the distinction of “Check-out Operator Of The Year” at Woolworths where she works in Australia. Jimmy, meanwhile, reportedly works as a janitor at a school, according to CheatSheet. He also started his own YouTube channel called JimmyOnTheSpectrum which has attracted more than 2,000 subscribers to date.

Olivia

Olivia was one of the cast members who had prior experience being in the spotlight, as she had been working with a theatre company, which she found provided a good outlet for her creativity. She did not find love on the show, though fans loved watching her dating journey. With that said, her date with Christopher was not one of the best dates from Love on the Spectrum.

Not much is known about what she has been up to since, though Olivia told Digital Spy after the show that she is bisexual and has been exploring dating women, as well.

Kelvin had been having a lot of problems trying to date before meeting with Jodi on the show, who helped him understand and use some of the right tools to make for a successful date. He did go on a date, but the two did not end up hitting it off.

On the show, Kelvin discussed his love for anime and showed off his talent for drawing. He appears to be continuing to hone that talent, as his Instagram account is filled with impressive drawings. It is unclear what else he might be up to.

Maddi

Maddi, who went on a few dates on the show, including one with Mark, did not find a proper match and continued on her quest for love. She does not appear to have a social media account, but, according to The Cinemaholic, she was working at a doggy daycare as of late 2021.

According to CheatSheet, some fans did not like how Maddi’s parents tried to push her to present mistruths about herself, such as telling her not to reveal to potential suitors that she did not want to have children.

Mark

Mark is no longer on Instagram after finding it too difficult and overwhelming to manage the account and all the comments coming in, according to ShowBiz CheatSheet. He returned for the second season where he dated Chloe, who found she was attracted to him after seeing him on season 1. Their second date in the gardens was one of the best dates on Love on the Spectrum season 2. While they dated for some time, their love did not last.

Because he does not have any social media presence, fans are unclear what Mark might be up to now. According to The Cinemaholic back in late 2021, however, he was last working part-time at McDonald’s and living in a home adjacent to his parents.

Andrew

Andrew captured the hearts of viewers thanks to his playful nature, love of movies, and his true desire to find love. He went on dates but did not end up finding the one.

According to MamaMia back in May 2021, Andrew continued to work as an administration support officer and expressed interest in applying to more speed dating events. The first successful couple to be shown on the show, and one of the couples from Love on the Spectrum who are still together, Ruth and Thomas were engaged at the time season 1 aired, and have since gotten married. They officially tied the knot in the summer of 2020, according to Bustle. They also expanded their family to include not only their snake, Cleopatra, but also a cat and five chickens, all of which are featured on their social media.

Ruth has an account on Instagram where she promotes her own merchandise sold on RedBubble, including NFTs, clothing, and more.
