Love, Victor: Which Character Are You, Based On Your Zodiac Sign?

Over two seasons, Love, Victor has appealed to viewers with its humorous and realistic portrayal of a gay teenager coming out to his friends and family. With sharply drawn characters and an appealing soundtrack, the show has attracted a fiercely devoted fan base who identify with the different personalities of their favorite characters.

Fans of Love, Victor often ask themselves who they relate to the most. Creekwood’s citizens represent the full spectrum of the zodiac, from moody Cancers to loyal Virgos, so any fan can relate to one or more of the show’s characters.

12 Aries: Andrew

Bold and headstrong, Aries signs aren’t shy about getting what they want. Andrew, Creekwood’s basketball captain and Victor’s main antagonist in season 1, is the perfect embodiment of the ram sign’s fiery heart.

A competitive leader with a passionate romantic streak, Andrew showcases his zodiac traits in his romantic pursuit of Mia in the show. When he finally does win her heart in season 2, he shows that he is extremely faithful and outspoken.

11 Taurus: Felix Westen

Down-to-earth and gentle, Felix Westen is the ideal Taurus of the show. Victor’s best friend values honesty above all else and feels betrayed when his girlfriend Lake unintentionally reports his mother, who lives with depression, to social services.

Tauruses are Earth-fixed and thus like to relax in serene environments surrounded by soothing sounds. Felix shows these qualities when he first consummates his relationship with Lake at a remote cabin in the woods and when they end their relationship at an aquarium.

10 Gemini: Adrian Salazar

Victor’s little brother Adrian doesn’t get a lot of time on the show but when he is onscreen, he displays characteristics of a Gemini personality. Friendly and playful, Adrian is always up for hanging out with his siblings or taking care of his pet turtle, Heather.

Like all Geminis, Adrian has another side that is somewhat shy and reserved at first. He is happy in keeping his own company, as seen when he starts watching Hustlers without Pilar and Rahim, but will warm to a social situation and become gregarious with others.

9 Cancer: Victor Salazar

Cancers are inherently sensitive and emotional people who can also be moody and defensive. As the titular character, Victor showcases these traits in practically every episode with understandably dramatic results.

After Victor discovers his boyfriend Benji is in Alcoholics Anonymous, he is hurt that he wasn’t told earlier and quickly instigates a fight with him. Soon after, Victor shows a more positive Cancer characteristic by inviting Benji to spend the night.

8 Leo: Rahim

With his black fingernails and provocative clothes, Rahim is a true embodiment of a Leo. Whereas Victor is more reserved about his sexuality at school, Rahim is out and proud. He’s also one of Creekwood’s more sociable students, befriending Pilar and the rest of the group quickly.

Blessed with high self-esteem, Rahim is the first to praise himself in whatever he does. When he develops a photograph for Victor, he expresses admiration for his work before Victor does. Rahim also has a big heart and lends a sympathetic shoulder (and possibly more) to Victor when he and Benji hit a rocky patch in their relationship.

7 Virgo: Mia Brooks

Among Creekwood’s student body, Mia is the most studious and hardworking. The daughter of a college academic, Mia expects perfection from herself first and works hard to attain it.

Mia also possesses the Virgo trait of being a good and loyal friend to Lake. When Lake’s relationship with Felix ends, Mia abandons her pizza date with Andrew to console her disconsolate friend. Mia also shows the very Virgo traits of being reserved and level-headed when Victor comes out to her at the end of season 1.

6 Libra: Benji Campbell

Love Victor’s resident bohemian, Benji is a true Libra who is gentle, gregarious, and artistic. Benji is frequently seen playing in his band the Sticky Beaks and being sociable at both Creekwood High and at the Brasstown Coffee Company, where both he and Victor work as baristas.

Benji also doesn’t want conflict and is respectful of Victor’s gradual coming out process to both his friends and family. In addition, Benji is pragmatic in his love for Victor. While he falls hard for him, Benji is wise enough to pause their relationship when Victor reveals Benji’s AA status to Rahim.

5 Scorpio: Isabel Salazar

Passionate and sometimes intimidating, Love, Victor’s resident Scorpio Isabel never backs down from a fight. As the mother to Victor, Isabel initially has a hard time accepting that her son is gay. As a result, for much of season 2, she erects an outer shell to protect herself.

However, Isabel also prioritizes being authentic even if it’s not easy. That’s why she ultimately comes around and accepts Victor for who he is: a gay teenager who is still the same son she raised and loves.

4 Sagittarius: Pilar Salazar

Victor’s rebellious young sister Pilar is a genuine Sagittarius: independent, strong-willed, and truthful. Pilar prefers to fly solo on her side adventures and possesses few friends besides Felix and Rahim. Pilar is also portrayed as a teenager who prefers inner exploration through reading rather than conventional socializing.

Pilar also isn’t afraid to tell it like it is to anyone who is in self-denial. She calls Victor out for lying about his relationship with Mia and is similarly candid with Felix about their burgeoning feelings for one another.

3 Capricorn: Lake Meriwether

You can trust a Capricorn to always get what they want when they set their mind on something. Lake is similarly obsessive in her quest to get whatever she wants, particularly when she tries to win Felix back in season 2.

Capricorns also prioritize presentation and artifice over deep emotion, and Lake often finds herself looking to others for approval. This is most evident in Lake’s relationship with her mother, who persistently urges her to lose weight to fit an unattainable feminine ideal.

2 Aquarius: Simon Spier

Simon doesn’t appear much in Love, Victor but when he does, he usually displays qualities most associated with an Aquarius. Open-minded and honest, the now collegiate Simon is more socially aware and independent than his teenage self.

Simon shows a continued level of concern for Victor throughout the show and constantly guides him through the ups and downs of coming out. While physically distant, Simon is always a phone call or text message away from helping Victor solve whatever problem is in his path.

1 Pisces: Armando Salazar

Sensitive and nonjudgmental, the Salazar patriarch is a good example of a Pisces’ positive characteristics. When Victor comes out to his parents in the season 1 finale, it’s Armando, and not Isabel, who is immediately supportive and accepting of his son.

Armando also shows deep dedication and devotion to his wife throughout the series. When his wife asks for a separation, he quietly agrees and moves out of the apartment. He is also patient with her slow acceptance of Victor’s sexuality and loyal when she revealed she cheated on him with another man in Texas.
