Based on DC Comics, Lucifer, became a Netflix Original last year after FOX canceled the series three seasons into the show. After a brilliant season two, Lucifer’s creators came back with a lot of episodes and stories to tell in the show’s last outing on FOX Network.

With Lucifer Morningstar (played by Tom Ellis) now increasingly fond of Los Angeles or more precisely, Chloe Decker (played by Lauren German), the devil on Earth will have to deal with celestial forces while making sure he keeps the ones he cares about safe. Without further ado, let’s rank the ten episodes from the third outing of the critically acclaimed series, according to IMDb.

10 “Orange Is The New Maze” (8.6)

In the nineteenth episode of season 3, everything is haywire when it comes to Maze. A murder takes place and Maze turns out to be the prime suspect. Expectedly, she wants to go back to hell, but Lucifer wouldn’t do it.

So, she goes to Pierce for help. Also, Lucifer and Chole must get to the truth, when it becomes crystal clear that Maze is only taking the blame, although she hasn’t done anything.

9 “They’re Back, Aren’t They” (8.7)

The first episode of season 3 does a great job of kicking things off. Lucifer wakes up in a desert with his wings back, but he doesn’t know how and why he is there. So, with the help of Chloe, he tries to figure out exactly what happened to him.

Also, a new character, namely Marcus Pierce is introduced as the new Lieutenant and his rock-like behavior isn’t being appreciated by the team.

In the ninth episode of season 3, a lot of characters take up new things. Firstly, Charlotte finds a job, in which she sees her future, while Amenadiel finds a romantic interest, which is good for him.

At NYPD, Pierce has returned to work after taking a bullet, as if nothing happened. Also, there is a new killer in town who seems to have taken an interest in Lucifer. He is killing everyone who owes Lucifer a favor.

7 “Vegas With Some Radish” (8.9)

The sixth episode of this season was originally planned to be shown in season 2 but, instead, the creators thought it best to be shown as a standalone episode in season 3.

Lucifer discovers that his ex-wife (who was fake), Candy, has gone missing. So, along with Ella, he goes on a journey to find her. But, throughout the investigation, some interesting new discoveries come to light. Also, Chloe is not happy with Lucifer

6 “Till Death Do Us Part” (8.9)

In the thirteenth episode of season 3, something completely unexpected happens and all of it is hilarious, to say the least. A chemistry teacher, who previously manufactured drugs, is found murdered, and to get closer to the culprit, Pierce and Lucifer must go undercover.

They have to do what they don’t want to but have to. Also, Maze develops an attraction for someone she didn’t previously like.

5 “The Sin Bin” (9.1)

In the tenth episode of season 3, Dan has a problem to deal with. Trixie, her daughter, is introduced to Charlotte and she starts questioning her relationship with her father.

It’s understandable because kids can be insecure, sometimes, as they don’t understand the world. Elsewhere, Lucifer wants his devil face back. And the viewers already know what Lucifer can do to get exactly what he wants.

4 “The Angel Of San Bernardino” (9.1)

In the twentieth episode of season 3, the presence of celestials on Earth comes to light, which means Chloe must find out whether these supernatural things are true or not. A witness to a murder claims a winged angel saved her life.

Lucifer, hearing this, wonders what he’s really doing with his powers. Also, a startling revelation comes to the fore, which could change everything.

3 “Off The Record” (9.3)

In the seventh episode of season 3, Lucifer’s reputation is compromised and the viewers know how much he hates it when people don’t appreciate him.

The devil from hell has been sleeping with someone’s wife and when that someone turns out to be Linda’s husband, things threaten to go out of hand, with Lucifer on the back foot. Meanwhile, a serial killer is also on the loose to add to Lucifer’s problems.

2 “Quintessential Deckerstar” (9.5)

The penultimate episode of season 3 starts off emotionally. Pierce wants to kill Amenadiel and frame it on Lucifer, but Charlotte saves Amenadiel by taking the bullet.

Her soul is taken to heaven by Amenadiel as his wings return. Later, Dan and Ella break down, finding Charlotte’s dead body, while Lucifer finally admits his feelings for Chloe. They also kiss much to the delight of the fans.

1 “A Devil Of My Word” (9.8)

In the season 3 finale, the moment that the viewers were patiently waiting for since the start of the series finally happened. Charlotte is dead and the culprit is still on the loose.

Chloe and Lucifer must find him, with Dan not fit enough to approach the case. The series of events is breathtaking to watch, leading to one final reveal. Also, Maze must find a way to rebuild a broken relationship, as she knows her future is here on Earth.
