Unsurprisingly, it’s Chloe and Lucifer as the main couple of the show who had the largest number of romantic scenes in Lucifer. Many fans were looking forward to their kisses and love declarations since it took Lucifer and Chloe quite a long time to get there. And when Lucifer had to return to Hell, the fans were worried the beloved duo wouldn’t end up together after all.

But even the viewers who didn’t enjoy the main couple got several other romances they could grow to like. That led to plenty of intriguing kisses on the show, some of which were truly sweet, while others ended up being hilarious.

10 The Real Charlotte

Dan Espinoza hasn’t had much luck at love. When Charlotte Richards finally became herself and they decided to get together, they were both happy.

Their kiss scene was short but it showed their genuine affection; there was no big drama between them, just making clear they were on the same page. Unfortunately, Charlotte died soon after when she saved Amenadiel from the murderous Cain.

9 The Kiss From His “Mom”

Long before the real Charlotte showed up, Lucifer’s mom, the Goddess, occupied her body. When the Goddess left, Charlotte found out about the connection to Lucifer but she had no recollection of the Goddess’s presence. Charlotte believed she had an affair with Lucifer, went to his club, and kissed him out of nowhere.

Unlike other kiss scenes on this list, this one was hilarious thanks to Lucifer’s horrified reaction. Lucifer normally likes kissing people but he was less than excited when Charlotte, the woman whose body Lucifer’s mom previously used, decided to make out with him. In fact, he was so horrified he climbed his piano just to get away from the unsuspecting Charlotte.

8 The Fake Kiss

Speaking of hilarious kisses, there’s also the brief locking of lips between Marcus Pierce and Lucifer. When they were investigating a crime together and took on assumed identities, Lucifer and Marcus posed as a couple. To sell their story, Lucifer went for it and kissed Marcus when the other man didn’t seem to expect it.

Once again, what makes this scene funny, is the reaction of the other people, especially Chloe, who’s doing security surveillance from a distance and she runs to take a closer look out of the window because she just can’t believe what she’s seeing on her monitor. Plus, the kiss has an added value for the fans of the Arrowverse since it’s basically Lucifer kissing Clark Kent aka Superman.

7 The Club Kiss

Just like Dan or Maze, Ella Lopez also is one of the characters who aren’t so successful at romantic relationships. And this kiss with Eve, that took place in Lucifer’s club, didn’t change it in the slightest but it was still a remarkable moment.

A criminal infiltrated the club and threatened the people inside, Lucifer was hurt, and Ella was on drugs and panicking. Eve took over and kissed Ella to calm her. It worked in the end and everybody survived the crisis so one could argue the kiss fulfilled its purpose.

6 Maze Opens Up

Maze is one of the greatest fighters on the show but she sometimes struggles with expressing her emotions. One of the few exceptions to this rule was Eve. Maze fell for Eve and wasn’t afraid to show it.

They kissed multiple times on the show but one of the best kisses happened at the police station. Eve kissed Maze after Maze had told Eve she deserved better. The kiss was cut short by Lucifer’s and Chloe’s arrival and their reaction to it made the scene go from emotional to hilarious.

5 The Reunion Kiss

Luckily for Chloe and Lucifer, they weren’t apart for long. Or so it seemed. When Chloe was in danger in the first episode of the fifth season, Lucifer came back from Hell and saved her. Chloe couldn’t believe her own eyes and she kissed him. Lucifer then confessed the only thing that kept him going in Hell was thinking of Chloe.

It was a sweet moment the fans were waiting for – at least until they learned that the man who kissed Chloe wasn’t Lucifer but his evil brother Michael who only posed as Lucifer. Still, despite that, it doesn’t diminish the scene’s emotional core.

4 Lucifer’s True Face

Throughout the show, Lucifer has continuously struggled with the fact he had to hide who he really was. When Eve came back, they struggled to rekindle their relationship since Lucifer was already in love with Chloe by this point. Still, the romance between Lucifer and Eve had its strong moments.

One of the best happened when Lucifer showed his Devil face to Eve. She wasn’t fazed by it at all and she kissed him anyway, proving that she didn’t care about his appearance and was willing to accept him for who he was.

3 Not Just Friends

It didn’t look like that way at first considering Amenadiel’s distant position toward humans, but he and Linda Martin are now one of the most stable couples on the show. They originally planned to be just friends but in the scene of their kiss, they soon realized there was much more than just friendship between them.

Linda complimented Amenadiel, he complimented her, and they ended up exchanging a loving kiss. And even though Linda freaked out after the kiss and claimed it was a mistake, they still got together in the end and are now proud parents to their son Charlie.

2 The First Kiss

Even though Lucifer flirted with Chloe right from the beginning, it took them a while to become friends and even more time to become something more. Just when it looked like Lucifer would give up since he was claiming he wasn’t deserving of Chloe, she proved him wrong.

Chloe surprised Lucifer by initiating their first kiss on the beach. They still weren’t a couple after this but their first kiss proved they had hope for the future.

1 The Goodbye Kiss

Since Lucifer is the lord of Hell, there were always obstacles between him and Chloe getting their happily ever after. When Lucifer decided to return to Hell in the fourth season’s finale to protect everyone, Chloe didn’t want him to go. She finally told Lucifer she loved him, he acknowledged she was his first real love and they shared a tender but sad kiss.

Lucifer still left Chloe behind, though, which made the scene one of the most bittersweet moments on the show. The song My Love Will Never Die by Claire Wyndham that played in the scene always helped to make it unforgettable.
