One of the main goals of Maneater is to become the Apex Predator of all underwater creatures, but in order to be the best players will need to beat the best. Players in Maneater start off as a baby shark and are tasked with avenging their mother’s death. However, players won’t get very far as a baby shark and will need to grow into the fiercest creature in the sea if they ever want to seek revenge on their mother’s killer.

While the player’s shark will grow as they collect experience from defeating other normal creatures, there are stronger creatures called Apex Predators who will give the player special mutations if defeated. There are seven different Apex Predators, each ruling over a different portion of the map. These are extremely dangerous creatures that will only appear after the player has cut off their food supply to draw them out of hiding. Here is a list of all seven Apex Predators and where the player can find them.
