Married At First Sight: Amani Randall Announces Pregnancy With Woody

Married At First Sight stars Amani Aliyya and Woody Randall have just announced they’re expecting their first child together. Fan-favorites Woody and Amani found love in Married At First Sight season 11, which began filming in February of 2020. While the beginning of the season went off without a hitch, with their weddings and even honeymoons barely being affected save for the brief mention of COVID-19, that didn’t seem to last long. Usually Married At First Sight is filmed in two months, but for season 11 the couples actually had to quarantine together during the pandemic. New Orleans, where the season was filmed, was put on lockdown, and the entire season ended up taking four months to finish, doubling the amount of time the couples would have together.

While this did serve as a challenge for some, it seemed to work for Amani and Woody. Though it wasn’t always smooth sailing, for the most part, a fight was rare. Woody and Amani hit it off immediately upon meeting each other at the altar. They were one of the few couples in the season that already felt as if they had known each other for years. Their connection was natural, and their chemistry was off the charts. Even with the longer timeframe, the two still made the decision to remain married. They’ve become quite the influencers on social media, frequently posting about their love and photoshoots the couple does together.

On their two-year anniversary, Woody and Amani took to social media to announce their pregnancy with their first child. The couple just shared a collection of photos on Instagram, with Amani captioning her post, “Today makes 24 months I’ve been married to the love of my life, Woodrow Randall. The biggest gift of all is being 24 weeks pregnant with the new love of our life.” The series of photos shows the couple all cuddled up and in high fashion clothing, with Woody’s hands on his wife’s stomach. In Woody’s post, he captioned his photo with a sweet quote from Elizabeth Stone as well as adding, “Baby Randall will be here June 2022.“

But that wasn’t all the couple posted. They both ended up posting a beautifully edited video of the couple walking together in various lux outfits, clearly showing off Amani’s baby bump. The video showed Woody and Amani kissing, hugging and serving face, all while Woody often touched her stomach in affection. Woody captioned his post with a quote from Pablo Neruda that read, “I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride…” He ended his caption by saying, “Love you, and my lil baby.” Many previous contestants from Married At First Sight commented under the posts, showering the couple with love and congratulations, including Karen Landry-Williams, who married Miles Williams, a close friend of Woody’s, in the same season, who commented, “Yesssss happy anniversary and so excited to welcome lil baby!!!“

Woody and Amani became fan-favorites back when their Married At First Sight season aired, simply by showing the world their love. To many, the entire concept of the show is ridiculous, but Woody and Amani have shown, since day one, how the process truly can work. It’s not the easiest thing in the world, and Woody and Amani showed that while their relationship was always good, they did have some ups and downs. It’s bound to happen in any healthy relationship, but they were able to communicate and overcome. They’re one of the success stories, and to have a beautiful baby come out of a love that fans got to see happen is just wonderful.
