The experts matched Chris and Paige Banks because of their financial backgrounds, but when Williams’ wife Banks brought up the question of a joint account, he quickly shot the idea down.

Williams has become a popular topic amongst fans during Married At First Sight season 12. Although most of the attention has been focused on Banks and his marriage, some fans have been curious about the Chicago native’s various businesses. Williams has every right to be proud of those businesses, but fans feel that he may be exaggerating when it comes to his accounts of his career success. Despite how MAFS viewers may feel about him, they can’t dispute the fact that he’s worked hard to build wealth.

Williams has an estimated net worth of $800,000, and this impressive sum was accrued through earnings from his job and other business ventures. He works as a finance manager and reportedly earns at least a six-figure salary, which is what helped him get off the streets; it was the stepping stone to his current $800,000. Williams, 27, went on to invest in a restaurant franchise, though he was evicted recently, and all his employees quit during his first week as a franchise owner. Williams has also mentioned owning houses and renting them out.

The Married At First Sight star has definitely been clever with his money. Looking at only this side of the reality star, it is clear why Williams and Banks were matched. Unfortunately, what looks good on paper is sometimes not so good in real life. Their pairing is an example of that. Banks may be in finance, but having similar career paths did not make for a perfect match.
