Married At First Sight Season 9: Inside Amber Bowles’s New Home

Season 9 of Married at First Sight was dramatic and one of the more successful seasons of the show, and one of its stars, Amber Bowles, has a new dream home. Gregory Okotie and Deonna McNeill stayed married and these two cuties are currently expecting their first child. Even though Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson had a fairly rocky relationship, they put in the hard work and stayed married. After the show, the couple moved to California to start a new adventure together. In the midst of all this success, there was the drama between Amber Bowles and Matthew Gwynne.

Though Amber and Matt initially seemed to like each other, or at least find each other very attractive, things went downhill quickly. The basketball player Matt was also a player of another sort. Matt told Amber not to change for him for the sake of making their marriage work, and he was clearly unwilling to change for her. On one of the nights he went out to a bar without his wife, Amber realized that he’d left his wedding ring at home on his nightstand. To add insult to injury, a friend of Amber’s saw Matt out at a bar, flirting with another woman, on Decision Day eve.

Amber said she wasn’t surprised to learn of Matt’s endless cheating, but she was seriously annoyed when it came time to legally divorce. Matt dragged his feet for months, refusing to sign the paperwork. Amber and Matt’s drama was the opposite of IG Live hosts Miles and Karen’s happy ending. Finally, in 2020, Matt signed the necessary forms to make their MAFS divorce legal. Since then, Amber has moved on in a big way.

Amber completed her new house. At the end of 2020, she started the process of building her dream home. On March 1, 2021, she announced that her house was finally complete. Officially a homeowner, Amber gushed on Instagram: “Don’t mind me! I’m just over here feeling 30, Flirty, and Thriving!!!!” She and her pup Lenny are settling in nicely.

A year ago, in May 2020, Amber revealed a new boyfriend on Instagram. He was tall and handsome. Judging by her comments, she was seemingly extremely happy and proud to be in the relationship. There were several pictures of them together. They were doing things like playing Uno and going to basketball games.

Since then, Amber has deleted the bulk of her Instagram posts. Whether or not she’s still with her once-wonderful boyfriend is a bit of a mystery. From the looks of things, it would appear that Lenny is the only man in her life. Right now, the former Married at First Sight bride. whose relationship on the show made MAFS fans doubt the experts, is focused on being a homeowner. Married At First Sight fans are happy for her.
