Davina Kullar had an unsuccessful marriage on Married At First Sight season 2, but she has lived a fulfilling life in her time since the dating show. Although Davina didn’t experience one of the most disastrous divorces on Married At First Sight, fans were still disappointed to see Davina’s dreams of finding a lasting marriage fall apart over the course of the season. From her comments on her failed marriage to her new family, here’s everything Davina has been up to since Married At First Sight.

Davina was introduced on Married At First Sight‘s season 2 premiere on March 17, 2015. Season 2 matched marriage candidates living in the New York and northern New Jersey areas. When Davina starred on the dating show over half a decade ago, she was 34 years old and working as a pharmaceutical saleswoman. Davina was paired with Sean Varricchio, a 35-year-old trauma nurse. One immediate connection that likely prompted relationship experts to match Davina with Sean is their shared experience in the medical field. Unfortunately, Davina and Sean’s similarities didn’t span further than their comparable careers and they didn’t turn out to be the most compatible Married At First Sight couple. When Davina and Sean first met at the altar they were attracted to one another, but they soon discovered their marriage was a lost cause.

Although they had a successful wedding day, Davina’s marriage with Sean started to fall apart once they embarked on their honeymoon. One issue Davina and Sean couldn’t resolve was their disparate opinions on where they should live. A fatal flaw of the interstate matchmaking process on season 2, Davina loved living in the city of Manhattan, while Sean planned to start a family in the less hectic Garden State. Neither Davina nor Sean were willing to compromise on which side of the Hudson River they would relocate to. Davina and Sean ended up not spending enough time together, as they lived miles away from each other throughout their marriage. On Decision Day, Davina and Sean agreed to get divorced. After the show, Davina confessed to New York Post that she never felt close to Sean, sharing, “I didn’t have a connection at all with him.”

Married At First Sight‘s marriage experts might not have been able to find a husband for Davina, but that doesn’t mean the pharmaceutical rep wasn’t capable of locking down a man the old-fashioned way. In 2016, Davina Kullar became Davina Davis when she married Donald Davis. In November 2018, Davina announced that she and Donald were expecting their first child. On May 8, 2019, Davina gave birth to her baby boy Hudson Carlton Davis. On top of developing her family, Davina has continued building her career. According to her LinkedIn, Davina has been working as a medical ophthalmologist since October 2017. Although Davina’s divorce from Sean hurt the success rate of Married At First Sight, Davina formed her own successful family outside of the show.

Davina’s journey on reality television was unfulfilling, but it was necessary for her to figure out what she’s looking for in a husband. Davina didn’t settle for the incompatible match experts found for her, and she ultimately landed her own happy ending. Davina’s experience on Married At First Sight proves that sometimes it’s worth getting to know someone before marrying them.
