In new previews for United States of Captain America #1 (H/T CBR) by Cantwell, Eaglesham, Josh Trujillo, Jan Bazaldua, and Alanna Smith, Aaron Fischer’s Marvel Comics debut is revealed. The queer ‘Captain America’ takes to the Railways to try to track down a group of missing kids. They note unhoused kids have disappeared throughout the city. Fischer admits to knowing how it feels to be abandoned and having no one on their side. They make it their own personal mission to locate the lost kids.

Standing in front of a giant mural of Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Fischer says they can look out for the kids in a way nobody did for them – because that’s what a Captain America would do in the situation.

Fischer clearly has a big heart and cares deeply about their fellow kids who have gone missing on the Railways. They will become a Captain themselves and sport their own shield while searching for the true cause of all the disappearances in their community. With Captain America as their inspiration, Fischer seems to be on the right track to becoming a great hero. Due to their sheer determination and caring attitude, Aaron Fischer will hopefully solve the troubling case, likely getting an assist from Captain America himself. The United States of Captain America #1 is in comic book stores next week.
