[Warning: Minor spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home are below.]

A recent mod adds Peter’s new suit from the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home to Marvel’s Spider-Man. Insomniac’s critically-acclaimed open-world superhero game provides plenty of alternate costumes for fans to swing around New York City in, including most of the ones featured in Spidey’s many big-screen adventures. Almost all of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man outfits from the MCU have been brought into Marvel’s Spider-Man, with a recent update to the remastered PS5 version adding the Black and Gold and Integrated Suits from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

However, there is still one MCU Spider-Man costume that hasn’t been brought into Marvel’s Spider-Man, and that is the one worn by Peter at the very end of No Way Home. The latest Spider-Man film represents a major turning point in Peter Parker’s life, and this is illustrated by the young web-slinger donning a brand-new costume in No Way Home’s final scene. While this suit is only shown briefly, it has garnered significant praise from fans for being much more faithful to the classic red-and-blue outfit from the comics than any of Spidey’s previous MCU costumes. Some fans have even added this new No Way Home Spidey costume to Marvel’s Spider-Man through the use of mods, even though Insomniac has yet to announce if or when Peter’s newest silver screen threads will arrive in the game officially.

Marvel’s Spider-Man fan and Youtuber jedijosh920 recently shared their own take on the suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending (via GameRant), posting a video montage of Spidey swinging through New York in this new outfit – even going as far as adding Spider-Man’s MCU theme to the background music in certain parts. The suit itself is patterned after the Classic costume that Spidey wears at the very beginning of the game, albeit with a much lighter, more metallic shade of blue. The Classic suit is already very similar to what fans could see from the No Way Home costume’s very brief appearance – though GameRant notes that the chest insignia is slightly different.

The new costume from Spider-Man: No Way Home’s closing sequence isn’t the only movie costume that’s missing from Marvel’s Spider-Man, as fans have been requesting that Andrew Garfield’s outfit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 be added for quite some time. Insomniac may be saving these skins for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is rumored to feature Symbiote-themed variants of every alternate costume in keeping with the arrival of Venom to the Marvel’s Spider-Man continuity.

Since Peter’s new red-and-blue costume can only be seen while the hero is swinging through the air during a dark and snowy night at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, it’s hard to tell how accurate jedijosh920 modded version is. Nonetheless, the metallic blue sheen of this suit makes for a striking visual in Marvel’s Spider-Man and would make for a neat addition to the Webhead’s ever-growing wardrobe in either another free update patch or when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 arrives in 2023.
