Potential spoilers for Heroes Reborn #6 ahead!

Power Princess, Marvel’s version of Wonder Woman, just put a disgusting spin on Thor’s Mjolnir trick. Fans know that Thor can summon his enchanted hammer by calling it to him, and in Heroes Reborn #6, Power Princess uses a disgusting variation of the trick to dispatch an enemy.

In the world of Heroes Reborn, the Avengers never existed and the Squadron Supreme, a team of Justice League pastiches, are Earth’s premiere superhero team. Among its members are Hyperion (a riff on Superman), Nighthawk (a dark and twisted version of Batman), and Power Princess—this world’s Wonder Woman. Much like Wonder Woman, Power Princess hails from an island paradise and came to Man’s World to show a better way; she also has enchanted bands, forged with special metals existing only on her native Utopia Isle. Each issue of Heroes Reborn has spotlighted a different member of the Squadron, and Power Princess steps into the spotlight in a special preview for issue six.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In Heroes Reborn #6 from Jason Aaron, Erica D’Urso, and Jason Keith, the demonic All-Gog fights Power Princess in Washington DC. All-Gog became infamous in this new Marvel Universe for devouring the Norse pantheon, even boasting of how Odin and Loki tasted; now he wants to devour Power Princess. All-Gog manages to get her halfway down his throat when she fights her way out; he continues his grandstanding, bragging about having her almost devoured. She tells him that is correct, and she left something behind—her enchanted bands. Taking advantage of the connection she shares with them, she summons the bands to her—and they tear right through All-Gog’s stomach, scattering his entrails. The demon is still in the fight, just now greatly weakened.

Instead of Power Princess delivering a death blow to All-Gog though, she turns him to stone just as she’s done with her other villains. Much like Wonder Woman, Power Princess was trained to be a warrior. However, while Wonder Woman will never take a life unnecessarily, in the brutal world of Heroes Reborn, Power Princess has no issues with dismembering her opponents; there are even hints that Power Princess is merely toying with All-Gog before she finishes him off. The Squadron Supreme are usually depicted as a darker, more “grounded” version of the Justice League, and Power Princess’s actions in this issue prove it.

Power Princess, Marvel’s version of Wonder Woman, is a fierce and unrelenting fighter, and in Heroes Reborn #6, she puts a disgusting spin on Thor’s Mjolnir trick.
