Masked Singer: Nick Carter’s Personal & Career Life Before Being Crocodile On Season 4

Nick Carter isn’t just Crocodile on The Masked Singer. He’s also a singer in one of the biggest boy bands of all time, The Backstreet Boys, and has a famous brother.

Nick became the youngest member of The Backstreet Boys in 1992. The group also included AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Kevin Richardson. Nick was only 13 when he joined the band, but had been practicing music, dancing, and acting for several years. Their first album, titled Backstreet Boys, was released in 1996 and gained fame in Europe. With the release of their second album, Backstreet’s Back, in 1997, they shot to fame around the world. The singles “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and “As Long As You Love Me” were the most successful tracks. Their third album, Millennium, debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the top-selling album of 1999. They released four singles from the album, “The One,” “Larger Than Life,” “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely,” and “I Want It That Way,” which topped singles charts around the world.

Nick Carter launched a solo career in 2002. He released an album called Now Or Never, which did well in the US and internationally. He also made a second solo album, though he isn’t well known for his solo work. Nick also appeared in some small acting roles on television shows like 90210, American Dreams, and 8 Simple Rules. The Masked Singer is also not Nick’s first time on reality television. He and his five brothers, including Aaron Carter, a singer and dancer, had a show called House Of Carters on E! The series only lasted eight episodes in 2006. He also appeared on Dancing With the Stars in 2015 and came in second with Sharna Burgess. While preparing for his wedding, he had another eight-episode series called I Heart Nick Carter in 2014.

Nick has had many publicized relationships with women like Paris Hilton, Willa Ford, and Debra LeFave. He married fitness trainer Lauren Michelle Kitt in 2014 on television and they now have two children. Nick was in the news in 2018 because singer Melissa Schuman accused him of raping her 15 years earlier. He denied all allegations and eventually the LAPD decided not to press charges. He has also struggled with alcohol and drug abuse his whole life. Nick decided to get clean when he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. In 2019, he filed a restraining order against his brother, Aaron Carter, when he threatened to kill Nick’s wife, Lauren. Aaron Carter has been known for strange behavior over the last few years. He was once a popular singer with hits like “Aaron’s Party.”
