The Masked Singer revealed which celebrity was behind the Caterpillar costume during Wednesday night’s episode, and he has now confirmed that all of his co-stars knew it was him the whole time. The Masked Singer had their Group B semifinals episode on November 17, and they sent two stars packing in a double elimination. The first performer to go home was the Mallard, revealed to be Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson. The second was the Caterpillar, revealed to be Queer Eye‘s Bobby Berk.

Earlier in the show, panelist Jenny McCarthy was positive she knew who the Caterpillar was. She even made the show’s men in black bring out the Take It Off buzzer because she was so sure the Caterpillar was actor Jake Gyllenhaal. However, her guess was wrong, and the Caterpillar remained masked until the end of the episode when he was revealed as Bobby. The star is a part of the show’s Fab Five, alongside Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness. The Netflix series debuted in 2018 and is a revival of the 2003 series Queer Eye For The Straight Guy.

For any fans of the show who were wondering what Bobby’s co-stars thought when he was revealed as the Caterpillar on The Masked Singer, the star admitted the Fab Five knew it was him the whole time. In an interview with EW, the designer admitted that his co-stars knew before he even started filming. As Bobby revealed, “We were actually filming the last episode of season 6 of Queer Eye the day I got the call to do this. And we were all sitting in the trailer together, so they overheard the initial conversation.

The Queer Eye star also confirmed that his co-stars had been very supportive, and were texting him and cheering him on while he was filming. Like all contestants, the Caterpillar gave many clues, which fans quickly decoded–a few being his Taylor Swift reference and VMA hint, both referring to his starring role in the pop star’s 2019 “You Need To Calm Down” music video, which celebrated gay pride and pushed for the passing of the Equality Act. Another Masked Singer clue uncovered after Bobby’s elimination was a picture of the five finger lakes that appeared in one of his clue packages. The photo represented him and his co-stars, the Fab Five.

It’s not surprising that the cast of Queer Eye knew from the start that Bobby was the star behind the Caterpillar costume on The Masked Singer. The five have become very close friends throughout the six seasons they’ve filmed for the Netflix revival that it’d be hard to imagine them hiding anything from each other. Even if they didn’t initially know, they likely would have figured it out immediately. Though Bobby’s time on The Masked Singer has come to an end, he blew the judges and audience away with his performances and will hopefully do more singing in the future.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
