Minecraft players have a turbulent, love-hate relationship with despised Endermen, which often results in amazing builds like the recent, massive Enderman island. Although a one-of-a-kind project, it strongly resembles a similar creative work designed by a different, yet equally talented, Minecraft fan.

In an attempt to reimagine Minecraft mobs as gigantic monuments, a crafty player embarked on a quest to recreate each existing in-game creature as an enormous statue. While both hostile and peaceful mobs were featured in the process, the notorious foes ended up looking a lot more intimidating and impressive, including a large-scale Phantom covering half the sky or a gigantic Ravager overshadowing a tiny village. The icing on the cake, however, was a pair of massive Endermen. One was holding a whole chunk of land with a small church on it. A similar scene was visualized by another Minecraft fan but in a different way.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Built by a masterful Minecraft player named nayakura8080 on Reddit, the colossal Enderman island is a sight to behold. The project features a massive figure of an Enderman emerging from the ground. Holding a massive chunk of soil, the enormous statue appears to be still and overgrown by vegetation, as though at some point in the past, it froze and became nothing more than an intriguing landmark. While it’s not something new for players to build gigantic Minecraft mob statues, nayakura8080’s project renders a very unique, almost mythical atmosphere. It has a strong Shadow of the Colossus vibe and is more of an actual piece of art rather than just a demonstration of building skill.

Another huge-scale Minecraft project once again features the game’s notorious hostile mobs, but with an unexpected art twist. Built by another creative player, the Minecraft Mount Rushmore features heads of a Creeper, a skeleton, a zombie, and an Enderman instead of recognizable Presidents. The in-game project matches the layout of the real memorial located in South Dakota, USA. Despite being constructed in Creative on a flat surface, the monument would’ve been an enjoyable addition to any rocky hill in Survival.

While there are many exquisite, beautifully designed Minecraft creations, real art expressively stands out, and nayakura8080’s Enderman island serves as a perfect example. Not only does it look incredibly detailed and sophisticated, but also tells a story through its very imagery. The build highlights Minecraft’s unlimited creative potential. The only boundary is a creator’s imagination.

Minecraft is available on all platforms.
