MBFFL: Buddy Bell Starts Wedding Planning With Release Of Merch

Whitney Thore’s best friend and co-star of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Buddy Bell, seems to start wedding planning with the release of some new merch. Buddy is a fan favorite on the show, as he’s usually a sounding board for Whitney. While Buddy may have had a few ups and downs, he has always been considered MBFFL‘s unsung hero since he is usually the one to come and rescue Whitney from all her predicaments. When Whitney dated Chase Severino, TLC viewers worried it would affect her friendship with Buddy. Luckily, nothing could ruin their years of friendship. Whitney and Buddy have supported each other for a long time, including through Buddy’s struggles with addiction.

However, now that Buddy is ready to settle down, viewers wonder how his dynamic with Whitney may change. Buddy announced in early December that he is officially off the market. The star revealed he proposed to his girlfriend, Courtney Renee Marsh, right before the holiday season.

It seems Buddy is moving full steam ahead with his engagement to Courtney as he took to his Instagram to share a photo of his wife-to-be’s new sweatshirt. Courtney wore a beige sweatshirt that read “Future Mrs. Bell” as Buddy joking wrote, “Oh snap! We got merch!“ While pointing at the gear, Courtney also showed off the shiny ring she sported proudly on her finger. The couple has yet to set a date, but My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewers are hoping the wedding takes place in line with filming so the cameras can capture the big day. Check out Buddy’s post below:

In Buddy’s December post, the star revealed he melted down heirloom gold to help make the beautiful lab-grown diamond ring. On top of popping the big question, the reality star also celebrated his graduation. Buddy and Courtney have been together since November of 2020, after the comic broke up with his former girlfriend, Brittany. Courtney and Buddy moved in quickly together since both knew it was love at first sight. They also have a French bulldog named Scout.

As for Whitney’s reaction to Buddy’s news, the dancer liked the post but has yet to publically comment. For a while, My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewers believed Whitney and Buddy would end up together, but it looks like that ship has sailed. Whitney is now focusing on her French man while Buddy puts together a wedding. With the new year just starting, there will be plenty of time to plan the perfect wedding as Buddy waits to become a husband.
