Multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 heroes and villains are getting their own Blacklight Funko Pop! figures and merchandise. After taking the entirety of 2020 off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MCU returned the next year to dominate the box office once again, starting in July with Black Widow, the first film in Phase 4. Marvel Studios then followed that up with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals. Produced in partnership with Sony, Marvel finished the year strong with the box office smash hit Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Thanks to the launch of Disney+ in 2019, the MCU was also able to expand to the small screen during Phase 4. WandaVision was the first show to hit the streaming service in January 2021 and was followed up by The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…?, and Hawkeye all by the end of the year. Many of these shows continued characters’ storylines from Avengers: Endgame, such as Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), and Loki (Tom Hiddleson), while also introducing new additions to the MCU like Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld).

Now, a first look at Marvel’s new Blacklight Funko Pop figures has been revealed via Collider and they put the Phase 4 characters front and center. The figures include Scarlet Witch, Sylvie, Sam Wilson’s Captain America, Kate Bishop and Lucky the Pizza Dog, and an Infinity Killmonger figure inspired by What If…?. In addition to the figures, the Blacklight line includes other merch such as t-shirts, backpacks, and pins. All items are available for preorder on February 18 exclusively at Target. Check out the new Blacklight merch below:

This new series of Funko Pop! figures is based on Marvel’s lineup of streaming shows going all the way back to WandaVison. It was known before the show’s debut that the series would set up Scarlet Witch’s eventual appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is now the next Marvel movie due out, so audiences will be seeing more of Wanda very soon. Fresh off of watching the Multiverse collapse in Loki, Hiddleston’s God of Mischief, Sylvie, and Mobius (Owen Wilson) are all rumored to appear in Doctor Strange 2 as well.

Falcon and The Winter Soldier similarly hit the reset button for Sam Wilson’s Falcon, chronicling his decision to take over the Captain America moniker, setting up Mackie’s character as the focus of Captain America 4, which does not yet have a release date. Similar to Sam’s journey, Hawkeye seemingly saw Kate Bishop take over Clint Barton’s mantle, though the exact future of Steinfeld’s archer is unknown. The next MCU show on Disney+ will be Moon Knight, which should be the start of another strong year of streaming for Marvel Studios. This new Funko line proves that Marvel is just as invested in its shows as it is in its movies.
