Warning! Spoilers for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 below!

Miles Morales is about to celebrate his 10th anniversary, as a series of new covers for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 showcases the web-slinger in his new suit. In his ongoing series, Spider-Man’s suit was destroyed after he experienced his own deadly Clone Saga. However, he just got a new suit made, which he’ll wear for at least the 10th-anniversary celebrations. The new costume is strikingly different from the suit he usually wears.

Miles Morales has seen a meteoric rise in popularity since debuting in Ultimate Fallout #4 by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli back in 2011. Originally part of the Ultimate Universe, Miles joined the main continuity and has become a significant player in 616-canon – as he has been featured on epic adventures with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Peter Parker. Additionally, with his increased platform, Miles has starred in the acclaimed animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and his own PlayStation spinoff Spider-Man game, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Now, Marvel is about to celebrate the character’s 10th year since first appearing in the comics.

Marvel Comics gave readers a new look at Miles Morales’ new Spider-Man costume in a series of new covers for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 by Saladin Ahmed and Carmen Carnero. Spider-Man’s suit was torn to shreds by clones pretending to be him in the latest arc of the series. Needing to try something new so he can forget about the saga, Miles gets a new suit designed for him. The new look, created by Chase Conley, is undoubtedly unique. Marvel Comics showcased the suits with covers from Taurin Clarke, Conley, and Pichelli, and Rachel Rosenberg. Take a look at the covers below.

Javier Garron and Matthew Wilson also created a cover for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 with Miles in his classic suit, as he delivers a bunch of pizza with Spider-Gwen by his side.

The 10th-anniversary celebrations in the double-sized Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 will also feature some incredible guest artists and writers, including Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse producers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. Pichelli will return for the book, while Oscar-nominee Kemp Powers (Soul) will also contribute to the celebrations.

It’s hard to believe Miles Morales has already been appearing in the comics for ten years. It’s been quite the ride for the hero, as he’s become one of the publisher’s most iconic heroes in such a short time. Spider-Man’s new suit will swing into action when the celebratory issue of Miles Morales: Spider-Man comes to comic book stores and online on September 29.
