Josh Flagg is known for appearing as a luxury real estate agent on the hit Bravo series, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. He joined the show for season two in 2008, making him the closest to an original cast member on the series. While on the show, Josh has shown fans how successful he has become in the real estate industry in the Los Angeles area by selling homes upwards of $50 million for the rich and famous. It’s no wonder he has sold the most property amongst his fellow castmates.

The 35-year-old currently stars on the reality series alongside Josh Altman, James Harris, David Parnes, and Tracy Tutor. The show follows the professional and personal lives of the men and women in the real estate industry based in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Malibu as they sell high-end properties. Throughout their years on the show, Flagg found himself in a serious rivalry with Josh Altman. However, the two have since buried the hatchet. Flagg and Altman have even started to co-list some homes together.

The famous real estate agent was born on August 20, 1985, in the Los Angeles area. Josh’s parents are Michael Flagg and Cindy Platt, who were born into wealth. Josh’s maternal great-grandfather was the founder and owner of the nationwide Platt Music Corporation chain of stores, while his paternal grandmother, Edith Flagg, was one of the first designers to import polyester as a fashion textile to the USA. Edith was featured on MDLLA several times from seasons two to six until her untimely death in 2014. Josh even wrote a book about his grandmother, A Simple Girl: Stories My Grandmother Told Me, in 2009, featuring a series of stories she had told him over the years.

At the age of 18, Josh began his career in real estate by making residential sales in the high-end neighborhoods of LA Since then, Josh has sold well over two billion dollars worth of property and is among the top five real estate agents in LA (via Josh Flagg). Not only has he sold homes to billionaire families such as the Gettys, but he has sold homes for Adam Levine and Shonda Rhimes, as well as several wealthy developers. After gaining fame from MDLLA, Josh published his second book, Million Dollar Agent: Brokering the Dream, in 2011. The book is an autobiography about his personal life and his journey to becoming one of LA’s top real estate agents. Besides his professional success, Josh married his husband, Bobby Boyd, in 2017 at the Beverly Hills hotel, which was shown on an episode of MDLLA.

Since joining MDLLA, Josh has developed quite the fanbase amongst Bravo viewers. They love his worth ethic, his impeccable taste for design and fashion, and his adorable relationship with his late-grandmother. Josh has become a staple on the Bravo series, with more and more fans interested in his real estate career and his personal life.
