MLB The Show 21 now has even more ways to improve a Diamond Dynasty team with additions to the Team Affinity programs. The developers at San Diego Studio are keeping fans busy with a steady stream of new updates and content. MLB The Show’s Diamond Dynasty has lots of gameplay for anyone to work through, including the Team Affinity programs, which give rewards for completing missions with ballplayers from specific teams and divisions, and now there are more exciting rewards with the addition of Season 2 to the programs.

It’s gotten easier than ever to craft a strong lineup of Diamond-level players in MLB The Show 21. Season 2 of Team Affinity is full of top-tier cards that come very early in the program. After gaining just five TA points, users receive a Flashback choice pack filled with fan-favorite players, and since two TA points are earned for each division-specific Moment that is completed, a Diamond player can be chosen after just three single-game missions. This is now one of the fastest ways to get powerful players, and with six divisions to work through, grinding for a full MLB The Show 21 Diamond team is not too rigorous.

While some nice early rewards come from the Flashback packs, the elite cards are found later in the programs. After acquiring 60 TA points in MLB The Show 21, players will receive a Diamond division pack which includes 90+ overall cards, and this is where some of the game’s greatest treasures are hidden.

MLB The Show 21: Best Hitters & Pitchers In Team Affinity Season 2

The top three hitters from these packs (Dante Bichette, Joe Torre, and Jim Thome) are 96 overall and each have impressive hitting attributes. These hitters come from the NL West, NL Central, and AL Central respectively, so completing MLB The Show 21’s Central Division Team Affinity Season 2 Conquest Map would be efficient for anyone looking to add a few elite bats. Cliff Lee of the Philadelphia Phillies also boasts a 97 overall Milestone card that can be found in the NL East Division program. This Starting Pitcher card is the highest of any kind from the new batch of Diamonds recently added, and it’s also part of MLB The Show 21’s Milestone series, which normally has cards that are hard to come by, so putting him in the collection could also have some rewards. There aren’t many pitchers in the game that can rival the new “6 Shutouts” Cliff Lee card, so focusing on some of the NL East missions could really boost a starting rotation.

The Team Affinity programs are much more rewarding now in Season 2. The start of the programs are heavy with Flashback packs which are great for getting specific players. Towards the end of the programs there are a ton of randomized Ballin’ Is A Habit packs that are always well worth the grind to get. The new programs have plenty of missions and moments to keep fans busy for awhile. MLB The Show 21 regularly offers new content, and the new Team Affinity Season 2 programs have been another significant addition.
