Players will want the best armor and weapons in the game and in order to do that, they will need to grind for specific materials. These materials may sometimes only have a small chance of making an appearance, prompting players to try and try again. This is the case with the Paralysis Sac. This guide will show players where they can find them and explain their purpose in the game.

For starters, the Paralysis Sac is an item used for crafting. It can be used for two different purposes, crafting clothing and a single weapon. In the case of clothing, players can create the Volvidon Armor set, which are two separate items, the Helm and the Greaves. Both of these pieces require two paralysis sacs to create them. Not only that, but players can craft the Grim Cat which is a Switch Axe that can deal additional paralysis damage. Both are fairly valuable so players should try and go out of their way to find them. Where To Find Paralysis Sacs in Monster Hunter Rise

Paralysis Sacs are dropped by Volvidons and players can find them at the Sandy Plains or the Lava Caverns. These are 4-star monsters so make sure to prepare when taking them on. There are two different methods of dealing with the Volvidons.

• Capturing It: The Paralysis Sac has a 22% chance of appearing if the player captures it instead of killing it.
• Killing It: The Paralysis Sac has a 16% chance of appearing if the player kills it.

Obviously, capturing it is the best way to go if you want to collect Paralysis Sacs. It might not appear throughout your first attempt to continue to play through Expedition Tours until it appears.
