In a new eye-catching piece of MCU fan art, Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight has his new costume reimagined with a totally different sleek and modern look. From the moment the series was first announced by Disney and Marvel, fans everywhere have been excitedly awaiting the arrival of the live-action version of Moon Knight. As a way to help celebrate the highly anticipated Disney+ TV series, artist BossLogic revealed his take on Moon Knight‘s costume with an inspired twist on the character’s MCU design.

The trailer for Moon Knight recently surpassed 75 million views in its first 24 hours, and has generated more than 1 million likes on the Marvel YouTube channel. After the first look at the titular superhero in action wearing his iconic costume, conversation has been rampant regarding the character’s live-action look. In the trailer, it is shown that the suit is not simply a Moon Knight costume that Marc Spector wears, but rather it seems to come alive and wrap itself around him in the form of what appear to be mummy bandages.

Now comes exciting new fan art from well recognized artist BossLogic, who has created countless popular fan art pieces throughout the years, as well as official comic book covers for DC Comics, Image Comics and other publishers. In this rendition of the Moon Knight costume, the artist conjures up an image filled with mystery and intrigue, as exemplified by the billows of smoke that surround the character. The characters’ iconic crescent moon insignia seems to glow yellow in contrast to the overall dark hue of the sleek black design suit design it is attached to. Isaac will play the titular role of Marc Spector aka Moon Knight, while also playing several of the character’s companion personas. Meanwhile, veteran actor Ethan Hawke is stepping in as the antagonist, playing nefarious cult leader Arthur Harrow. The character of Anton “Midnight Man” Mogart is being played by actor Gaspard Ulliel, who unfortunately passed away very recently after tragically losing his life in a skiing accident. Jeremy Slater is head writer for the series, and is most notably known for his work on Netflix’s hit Umbrella Academy, which was also a TV series adapted from a comic property.

Whether or not the version of the costume worn by Isaac in the series trailer will also feature other variations or alternate looks is not yet known. But as it is, the new live-action costume seems to be a visually crowd pleasing look that many fans are eagerly excited to see more of soon. Moon Knight is set to release on March 30, 2022 on Disney+, and will reportedly consist of six episodes.
