Warning! Spoilers for Moon Knight comics below

In a new action-packed cosplay featuring Moon Knight in his Mr. Knight persona, the Marvel Comics antihero tries to take down a group of bad guys trying to stop him. @captcash brings the Moon Knight alter-ego to life in an incredible new cosplay that pays tribute to the comics that debuted his more modern look while referencing the character’s future in the MCU in the process.

Moon Knight has been around in the pages for Marvel Comics for more than 45 years, debuting in Werewolf by Night #32 by Doug Moench and Don Perlin. Mercenary Marc Spector was reborn by the moon god Khonshu after being resurrected and agreeing to serve the deity. Moon Knight is the Fist of Khonshu and a street-level hero with a considerable edge as the antihero. When he’s not Moon Knight, Spector has four different distinct personalities, as he suffers from a dissociative identity disorder. The most recent personality is Mr. Knight, where he trades in his usual costume for the sophisticated look with an all-white ensemble. In the current comics, Moon Knight sports his Mr. Knight persona when helping those in need with his Midnight Mission.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In a new cosplay from @captcash, Moon Knight, in his Mr. Knight look, is in action against a group of bad guys. In the caption of his Instagram post, the cosplayer references Declan Shalvey and Warren Ellis (who created the Mr. Knight persona) and some of the antihero’s epic fights during their iconic run on Moon Knight. The image is reminiscent of some of Moon Knight’s best fights, as the Mr. Knight cosplay (with the same sewn stitch across his white mask seen in the upcoming Moon Knight Disney+ series) features his white suit and tie, vest, pants, gloves, and shoes. It’s safe to assume if this fight happened in the comics, the attacks would stand no chance against Moon Knight.

The look does a great job capturing Moon Knight’s Mr. Knight persona, as it brings the unique and badass ensemble to life in a fitting action sequence.

Moon Knight has always been a fairly popular Marvel Comics antihero, but considering the upcoming Moon Knight series on Disney+ starring Oscar Isaac and his comics being among the best they’ve ever been right now, the character’s star continues to rise. @captcash does quite a fine job with the cosplay at showing the Mr. Knight side of Moon Knight in action ahead of his live-action series.
