The first look at the new Hot Toys Moon Knight sixth scale figure reveals a detailed look at the hero’s suit and weapons. Moon Knight is the latest Marvel Comics character to be introduced into the MCU, starring in his own 6-episode miniseries on Disney+. The show stars Oscar Isaac as the titular character, with Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow, May Calamawy as Layla El-Faouly, Gaspard Ulliel as Midnight Man, Fernanda Andrade as Wendy Spector, and F. Murray Abraham as the voice of Khonshu.

Moon Knight was created in 1975, first appearing in Werewolf By Night (another character who will be introduced in this year’s Marvel Halloween Special), before starring in his own series. The Disney+ show is the first time that Moon Knight has appeared in live action, making it a milestone for the character. Bringing the costume to life in the series is one of the key selling points of the show, which has embraced a mummy-like approach to the design, while still recreating the signature classic look. The cape, hood, crescent blades, and glowing eyes are all in place for the live-action version, making it an inspired and faithful representation of the character.

Now, the signature costume is getting the Hot Toys treatment, which gives a very detailed look at the intricate suit and weapons of Moon Knight. The sixth scale figure was teased via The Marvel Nerd, sharing three new shots of the figure that give an intricate look at the “wrapped” design of the suit, as well as the gold inlays and accents (a first for the character). In addition to the suit, cape, and hood details, the figure will also feature the golden crescent blades, which can be glimpsed in the images as well. Finally, in another excellent detail, the figure’s eyes light up, giving it an exceptionally life-like quality. Take a look at the images below:

It’s unclear if Hot Toys will create a version of Mr. Knight, who is one of Moon Knight‘s alternate personalities. As the character has Dissociative Identity Disorder, he carries multiple personalities that help make up his character. Mr. Knight is the more “formal” version of the vigilante (but still in a white costume) who interacts with civilians and police to help thwart criminal activity. As this is also an early peek at the figure, it’s unknown if it will come with an interchangeable head sculpt of actor Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector, but traditionally the company does add those to masked figures.

Moon Knight‘s costume is one of the more impressive ones in recent years from Marvel Studios, as it honors the classic make-up of the suit, while giving it a twist that is so fitting it seems like it would’ve been ripped from the comics, yet it’s not. The mummy wrap visage ties into the Egyptian mythology so well that it’s a wonder it was never utilized in comic form, as it fits the character and his origins so well. This is an instance where the MCU has elevated the costume design with truly exceptional results. Moon Knight fans and collectors can soon add the Hot Toys version to their collection, which appears to be another outstanding addition to their stellar line up.
