Julia was fired as CEO at Elite World Group, the company run by Silvio. In addition to being sacked, Silvio sued Julia for allegedly withdrawing $850,000 from a joint account. Shortly after Julia’s firing, it was revealed that the 50-year-old reality star filed for divorce and demanded a restraining order against her ex.

However, the Netflix personality and her estranged husband relationship drama weren’t about to end with the divorce. A source revealed that Elite World Group’s new CEO Paolo Barbieri is investigating the company’s finances after Silvio sued Julia for illegally removing $850,000 from a joint account. In addition to the investigation, the source noted that Silvio’s attorneys seem interested in bringing the case to the Manhattan District Attorney.

However, Julia has since reacted to Silvio’s lawsuit with an equal measure of heated energy. The American fashion designer and entrepreneur recently filed a petition claiming that Silvio ignored the right corporate governance in firing her as the CEO of Elite World Group and demanded to have a “custodian” put in place at the company to protect her interests. According to Page Six, Julia revealed in the legal documents she filed that Silvio “sought to ride the coattails of her celebrity and business savvy.”

After Julia’s petition, a spokesperson for Silvio said they won’t respond to the “multiple falsehoods and baseless personal smears” in Julia’s lawsuit but would put faith in the court to determine the facts and the law. The representative described Julia’s court filing as a baseless action, which will not divert the attention from Silvio’s lawsuit. They also noted that there would be more information in the future on why Julia should be held accountable for her alleged misappropriation of company funds.

Silvio and his attorneys have made it clear in their court documents that they are ready to make the My Unorthodox Life star Julia return the money he claims she removed from his company’s account. However, with Julia’s petition, it could be that Silvio has some questions to answer. Meanwhile, amidst the estranged couple’s legal battle, it is good Elite World Group’s new CEO is investigating the company’s finances as this will help clear the air about the organization’s financial activities and presumably shed more light on Silvio’s claims.
