The wait is almost over for the NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i crossover. The original series’, following the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, will join together for a special episode for season 1 of the franchise’s newest addition, NCIS Hawai’i, which is different from other spin-offs. The CBS show has a history of producing high-octane drama that brings NCIS teams from different shows together, and this will likely be no different.

As with previous crossovers, members of both NCIS and NCIS Hawai’i will work together to solve a Navy-related murder in the upcoming story. The first crossover in the NCIS universe aired in 2009, entitled “Legend: Part 1,” and the follow-up “Legend: Part 2”, which acted as an introduction to NCIS: Los Angeles. In 2014, former chief special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the team helped introduce the second spin-off show, NCIS New Orleans, with the two-part crossover, “Crescent City (Part I),” followed by “Crescent City (Part 2)”.

In this instance, it will likely serve as a boost for NCIS Hawai’i season 1, which launched in September 2021. Here’s everything that’s known about the NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i crossover.

Photos released ahead of the program show Torres and NCIS Hawai’i chief Tennant together, suggesting they will work alongside each other. NCIS & NCIS: Hawai’i Crossover Story Details: What Will Happen?

Details of the episode have finally been released by the network. The story will follow NCIS agents Nick Torres and Jessica Knight heading to join the NCIS Hawai’i team after learning that a key witness in an old explosion case is there and holding crucial evidence. In the photo with Torres and Tennant, they can be seen staring at each other intently. He said: “Listen, Listen. I am headed off to Hawaii to shoot a crossover event.” Law added: “I’ve also got something to tell you—I’m coming to Hawaii, too.”
