NieR Replicant Remaster: What to Do After Beating It

Try a Second Story Route – NieR Replicant has something very similar to a New Game Plus mode called Second Story Route. Essentially the player can restart from the very beginning of the game, but this time around there are some pretty large differences in the story. Once the player makes it to the Haunted Manor section of the game there are new cutscenes and story aspects added into the game for the player to explore. This definitely makes it worth another playthrough.

Check out the Different Endings – There are also four different endings to the game that players can access by making certain choices throughout the course of the game. During the player’s first playthrough of the game, they will only have access to endings A or B, but the Second Story Route will allow the player to access endings C and D as well. These different endings really change the way that the game’s story plays out, and the D ending is what leads into the sequel NieR Automata. Be warned though ending D will delete the player’s save file forever!

New Side Quests – Upon starting the new route players will gain access to a host of new side quests to play as well. These quests can give them a lot of new content to access and earn them new items and weapons. Much of the weapons that can be acquired during a second playthrough of the game are far more powerful than any of the other weapons available.

Go Fishing – This is actually a great way to spend time in NieR, because fishing can enable the player to upgrade a lot of their gear. There are many upgrade resources in the game that can only be obtained by fishing in certain spots for them. On top of this though players are also able to sell any fish that they catch for cash that can then be used to purchase upgrades and materials.

Become a Master Gardener – Another stress-free way to spend time in the game is by playing around with the gardening aspect. Players can plant different seeds in their garden next to NieR’s home, which allows them to harvest the next day. Upon harvesting these plants can be sold for a decent chunk of change, which makes this a great thing to do in order to earn money.

NieR Replicant Remaster can be played on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
