Throughout the course of NieR Replicant Remaster players can spend their time doing a wide array of activities. This easy mini-game activity allows players to catch a wide variety of fish in the game’s world which can then be sold off for cash. Since it is incredibly important for players to have as much spare cash as they can, it is a good idea to spend quite a bit of time fishing if possible. Unlike other methods of obtaining money in NieR Replicant, fishing is one of the best because there is very little danger associated with it. All the player has to do is go to their favorite fishing spot and be patient. On top of earning money, while fishing the player can also obtain non-fish resources that can, in turn, be used to upgrade weapons, so players should check out everything they fish up before selling it off.

There are several fish that are worth a huge amount of money in the game that players can always try and catch. For example, the Dunkleosteus (worth about 12500 Gold) and the Rhizodont (worth about 15000 Gold) can earn the player a lot of money if they can capture a couple of them. These fish are very rare though and the player can only catch them by using more expensive bait types. This means it may not always be a viable option.

Really the best way to earn money fast from fishing is to first complete all of the fishing quests for the Old Fisherman. Once these have been completed the player should go and purchase as many earthworms as they can and head off to the Eastern Highway portion of the map. At the pond here the player can start fishing, and, because of the type of bait being used and the increased fishing skill from the quests, players will have a very high chance of capturing Royal Fish and Giant Catfish. They can then turn around and sell these fish off for a large amount of cash.
