While playing Nioh 2, players will spend a lot of time leveling themselves up in order to overcome the challenges they face. This means that a lot of amrita will be used throughout the course of the game. As players level up though, the amount needed in order to move to the next level will drastically increase, and eventually just leveling up one time could take players hours of work.

The largest issue here is that some players may have put some early points into skills that they do not use. Players will find that some of their skills may be under-leveled, and leveling up again may prove to take way too much time. Eventually, some players may want to respec those skills, but have no idea how. This guide will walk players through how to go about doing that.

Finding the Blacksmith in Nioh 2

In order to respec skills in Nioh 2, players will first have to unlock the Blacksmith in-game. Luckily, this will be completed over the course of the story. Players will just have to beat the second main mission of the game, and then the Blacksmith will be permanently unlocked. The Blacksmith will be able to be visited in between missions in order to buy and sell items, as well as forge new weapons and armor.

How to Respec in Nioh 2

If players check out the items that the Blacksmith has for sale, they will find an item called the Book of Reincarnation being sold for 10k gold. This sounds like a lot, but by this point, players will most likely have a lot to spare. Keep in mind though that every time that the book is bought the price will increase dramatically. Once the book is used though players will have their level reset to zero and all of their spent amrita returned. This will allow players to reallocate their skills more effectively the second time around.

Having the ability to respec in Nioh 2 is incredibly important for players who don’t know which skills will be used for their attacks. After spending a little bit of time with Nioh 2, most players will eventually get a better grasp of what skills they need the most. From there its just a simple matter of resetting the skills and ensure that they are more prepared going forward.
