Hereditary actor Alex Wolff is the latest to join the all-star cast 0f Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. After the release of his latest high-concept project Tenet, the blockbuster filmmaker is switching gears to tell the biographical tale of J. Robert Oppenheimer, father of the nuclear bomb, whose invention during the Manhattan Project was deployed in the WWII bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Nolan’s frequent collaborator, Cillian Murphy is leading the film as the title character, with A Quiet Place‘s Emily Blunt playing the female lead and Murphy’s onscreen wife. A windstorm of A-listers, including Kenneth Brannagh, Florence Pugh, Jack Quaid, Matthias Schweighöfer, Robert Downey Jr, Matt Damon, David Dastmalchian, and Josh Peck are also attached to the project and now the cast has gotten even bigger with a new addition.

As per a new report by THR, actor-singer, Alex Wolff, who most recently starred as a young Trent in M. Night Shyamalan’s 2021 Old movie, has also bagged a key role in Oppenheimer. Considering Nolan’s secretive filmmaking, Wolff’s role is being kept under wraps, although the actor is soon expected to join the production for the movie in New Mexico, where Oppenheimer has been filming for the past several weeks.

However big or small the role is, Oppenheimer inarguably marks a big break for the aspiring Wolff, who has previously appeared in the Jumanji movies. The call sheet for Oppenheimer is the most exclusive that Hollywood has seen in a while, hence Wolff’s addition to the ensemble is a clear testimony of his acting finesse and performance potential. Of course, it is too soon to tell or predict what the actor’s role in the movie could look like. But hopefully, fans will get a better idea as Oppenheimerapproaches its July 21, 2023 release date.
