The Owl House follows Luz Noceda, a teenage girl who’s accidentally transported from the “real” world to the Boiling Isles, a fantasy realm full of monsters and magic. There, she becomes the apprentice of Eda the Owl Lady, and trains to become the first-ever human witch. The series stands out due to its unique blend of comedy, adventure, and dark fantasy elements. It pulls inspiration from everything from Harry Potter to Hieronymus Bosch to horror films.
