Paris In Love: Paris Hilton Wishes Parents A Happy Anniversary On IG

Paris In Love star Paris Hilton took a break from celebrating her own marriage to wish her parents a happy anniversary on Instagram. Paris married entrepreneur Carter Reum in an extravagant 3-day wedding event earlier in November. The ceremony was packed with A-list celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Demi Lovato. The two recently jetted off on a honeymoon world tour, stopping first in Bora Bora. Paris also launched a miniseries on youtube called My Dream Honeymoon to invite fans into her and Carter’s post-wedding vacation.

Paris’ mother, Kathy Hilton, who has appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, married Paris’ father Richard Hilton in 1979 when she was 20 years old. Kathy was just 15 attending Montclair College Preparatory School in Los Angeles, when she met her husband. Richard is the grandson of Hilton Hotel founder Conrad Hilton. The married pair share Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Conrad Hughes Hilton, and Barron Hilton II.

On Sunday, Kathy and Richard celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary, and eldest daughter Paris shared a loving tribute to her parents on her Instagram story. The reality star first posted a collage of her parents when they were younger and then a photo from their 1979 wedding ceremony. She captioned the post “Happy Anniversary,” then tagged both of her parents’ Instagram accounts and added a heart-eye emoji. Paris also added a gif that said “relationship goals.”

Paris is currently living out her own love story on her honeymoon world tour with her husband, Carter. Paris shared her love for Bora Bora in the first episode of her YouTube series as fans wait for her to share where she’s headed next. Paris has been very vocal about how happy she is with her new husband and has shared how much better her relationship is than the ones she’s had in the past. Paris seems to be looking up to her parents’ 42-year long marriage as an example for her own relationship.

With all the celebrity breakups and divorces, it’s refreshing to see that Kathy and Richard’s relationship has withheld the test of time. The Paris In Love star definitely has a prime example of how to make a marriage last, and she can utilize it for her own marriage to Carter. It’s understandable why the reality tv star coined her parents as “relationship goals.” Though Paris has been open about her past unhappy relationships, her parents clearly helped her continue to believe in love. Now their love has been passed down a generation, and it will be beautiful to see how Paris and Carter’s relationship will play out.
