In a surprise release, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous free DLC is now available to download, adding more character customization in the Faces of War portrait pack and Love Beyond Death’s new area and questline. While numerous tabletop features were present in the sequel at launch, like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous’s Mythic Paths, the game’s post-launch updates have so far focused on bug fixes, as it released in an unstable state.

Much like Pathfinder: KingmakerWrath of the Righteous has an epic scope which makes it ripe for expansion. The RPG’s story involves the world of Golarion being invaded by an army of demons. The player is granted the power of a Mythic being, making them much stronger than the average mortal adventurer. They must then form the Fifth Crusade and create an army that can stand against the demons. Similar to KingmakerPathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous‘s large world map is full of cities to defend, dungeons to explore, and demonic fortresses to overthrow, so there’s plenty of room for the developer to add extra content in the future.
