10 Jim Caviezel Suffered Many Injuries While Filming Passion Of The Christ

The actor’s decision to play Jesus Christ was a controversial one, and despite the fact that Caviezel admits he found it difficult to find work after the role, he thought it was an opportunity not worth passing up. That said, the role came not only with a lot of pushback, with some critics calling the movie emotionally draining and criticizing the amount of violence, but also some strange happenings.

Throughout the time period that he was filming the movie, Caviezel suffered many injuries. It was reported that he was even struck by lightning while on set, with producer Steve McEveety admitting that “smoke came out of the actor’s ears.”

9 Jim Caviezel Is A Devout Catholic

Interestingly, while some felt that it was improper and an insult for Caviezel, or any actor, for that matter, to portray Jesus Christ himself in a controversial movie, no less, Caviezel is actually a devout Catholic.

He holds very strict religious beliefs, has been married to his wife since 1996, and they even adopted two disabled children. He has even refused to do love scenes that require nudity or gratuitous sex.

Acker wasn’t always interested in pursuing a career in acting. When she was younger, she was actually a dancer. She studied both ballet and modern dance for 14 years.

When she was in high school, however, she had to have knee surgery, which resulted in the end of her ballet career. She went on to graduate high school and earn a bachelor’s degree in theater.

6 Taraji P. Henson’s High School Sweetheart Was Murdered

While Henson has seen an upward rise in her career, appearing in plenty of great movies, she has had a tumultuous romantic life. She was once engaged to former NFL player Kelvin Hayden in 2018 but they ended their engagement ended by October 2020.

But the most heartbreaking fact is that Henson her child’s father, William LaMar Johnson, was later murdered in 2003 after an altercation.

5 Sarah Shahi Was An NFL Cheerleader

Contrary to her very cold and hardcore character who was a former U.S. Army Intelligence operative and physician, Shahi decided to go down a more cheerful path when she briefly worked as an NFL Cheerleader.

She worked with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, on the squad from 1999-2000, despite not having any previous cheering experience. However, it seemed her passion for acting was too strong to ignore as she got a role as an extra in Dr. T and the Women before moving to Hollywood afterward.

John Nolan is known for his recurring role on Person of Interest and as Douglas Fredericks in Batman Begins. But while the English actor is pretty famous himself, he has very famous nephews.

His nephews are Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan. Jonathan actually created Person of Interest and is also co-creator of HBO series Westworld. He has 10 Oscar wins and 34 nominations to his name and his films have earned billions worldwide.

3 Enrico Colantoni Is Canadian

Colantoni played Carl Elias, the illegitimate son of a mob boss and a crime leader in his own right on Person of Interest. While he is, in reality, of Italian descent, the actor is also Canadian.

The actor lived with his parents, who both emigrated from Italy, as well as his brother, who used to work for the Toronto Police Service. While he studied at the University of Toronto, he shifted to acting and moved to New York to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

2 Paige Turco Was Married To Jason O’Mara

The recurring character of Zoe Morgan, played by Paige Turco, was a “fixer” with a specialization in crisis management. She first crosses paths with Harold and Finch as a person of interest then later begins helping them on cases.

In real life, Turco was once married to Jason O’Mara, who fans might recognize as Jeffrey Mace from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well as the voice actor of Batman in the DC Animated Movie Universe. While she filed for divorce in 2017, they share a son together.

1 Kevin Chapman Was In 24

Kevin Chapman has a long resume of television series and movie appearances, but one that many might have forgotten about is that he was in the Kiefer Sutherland drama 24. He appeared in the first season as a first responder who was helping Jack Bauer through his missions.
