How to Level Up Fast in Persona 5 Strikers

As far as levels go, there are character levels, Persona levels, and bond levels. Raising each one is important for increasing synergy between team compositions and their offensive/defensive capabilities. Raising character levels is the first and most important thing. This happens automatically as long as the characters in question are on Joker’s active team. Players are allowed to have 4 members at one time including Joker. That means the other 3 can be swapped out at almost any time; specifically, at a checkpoint or outside the Metaverse. Inactive members will gain experience but not as much as those in Jokers active party. So, switching members frequently will help keep the thieves balanced and prevent anyone from lagging behind. Fighting as often as possible and progressing through the game will help the Phantom Thieves level easily, so ambush shadows frequently in between objectives. To further speed up this process, players should unlock and purchase the Bond skill Treasure Hunter.

Bond skills are bonus skills that improve in-game quality of life during battle, out of battle, and the characters themselves. There’s a variety of Bond skills available for grabs but getting them requires bond points. For example, there is the Treasure Hunter skilled mentioned before. Another Bond skill named Joker’s Wild, increases the drop rate of masks. Masks are important for acquiring Personas. These skills can take a little longer to acquire since the Bond system is based on Joker’s relationship with the other Phantom Thieves. Having members in Joker’s party will increase his Bond with them. But, certain dialogue options and real-word instances further increase Joker’s bond with the Phantom Thieves much quicker. For example, meeting Ryuji in Shibuya and helping him with a particular task, or having a conversation with him. Doing things like this in-between Metaverse jail incursions will boost Jokers’ bond with the Thieves much quicker.

Lastly, Persona’s are especially important as far as leveling goes. Personas are leveled using PP or Persona Points. These are gained from battles but at a much smaller scale compared to regular EXP. To further increase PP gains, players should frequently acquire new Persona’s during a battle, fuse them, and dismiss them. Don’t worry about dismissing them since they can be recorded in Lavenza’s book at the Velvet room. Personas can only be leveled as high as the character wielding them so make sure to focus on earning those EXP points.
